  • I love beer. I really dislike the bitter beers though. So, IPA's not happening. Lager is ick. Ales are ok. I personally either prefer super dark liquid bread type beer or the wheat beers (belgians and heffeweisen). The wheat beers are my favorite. They are very mild and have a really nice fruity taste. My favorite is Lleinenkugel Sunset Wheat. I cannot find this here on the west coast, but I love it. It has a really nice after taste of fruity pebbles.

  • I side with Jane.......beer is nasty tasting as a general rule........coffee has to have sugar at a minimum or preferably flavored creamer to be good.

Oh oh oh, I just thought of one beer that I could possibly tolerate to drink a whole one. It's called Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan, and it really does taste like pecans!

ETA: Another UO - I cringe a little bit when people pronounce it "pee-can." I may be a hillbilly, but I say "pah-kahn."

  • @unaveragejane‌ I can't love piddle your comment bc I love beer too much. But I will look for that beer to try, and agree with you about pee cans vs. pecans.
