  DH turned me down last night.  Said he wasn't in the mood.  Fine, whatever.  I guess I'll go to bed. Then I can't sleep because damn it, I wanted some.  So I'm up when he comes up to bed an hour later.  Shirtless ... meaning he whacked it.  I asked and he admitted it.  Way to make your pregnant wife feel really, really unattractive and fat.   I was trying to find a funny photo but I guess they are on my computer, not FB. My two BFFs are in this photo, and both are wearing heels while I'm wearing flats (both are just slightly above my stomach in flats ;-)). I should have made all of the wedding party stand on boxes so we could feel normal! ;-)

  @c&n2009  Go for it!  I've been going to my stylist for about 3 years now (though clearly not the regularly based on how long it had gotten).  She asked several times if I was sure when I told her she could do whatever she wanted.  I had to reassure her it'd be ok.  It's just hair.  Worst case, I don't like it and she either fixes it or it grows out eventually.

  Gotta toot my own horn for a minute and share that I got an award at a staff meeting for "Most Improved Teacher!" My boss said she recognized that 1. I had to adjust my teaching style from elementary to preschool, and 2. That I had a REALLY difficult class that gave me a really hard time in the fall and I really stepped up my game.   The intention was to yes, but I will admit to not getting around to some of them. The rutabaga is still on our counter. If it survives unroll we get back in town after Easter weekend then maybe we'll eat it. That durian fruit coming up though...no.

  I went lurking in the 3rd trimester thread the other day (even though I'm not there yet) and saw one of the twinny ladies post how she could have babies in something like 8 weeks... and then started freaking out.  Like, I was thinking how long it's going to be until I meet v2, and then I saw that... and I need more time, I have a lot left to do (yes, I know that I, personally, *do* have more time), like, a really lot to do and I need to do it all immediately.  So I started making the most giant Oh Shit To Do List in the world (in the form of a binder) with the remaining things that I need to do before basically the beginning of July.

  My DH has been working out of town recently and just came home from being gone for two nights. (He was also gone Sunday night to Tuesday afternoon)
  
  One of his friends texted him to hang out so I told him he could go. (ETA: not that needs my permission, but I was looking forward to some time with him.) In "exchange", he handed me his card so I could do some online shopping...

  Sometimes I wake up early in the morning and feel a sharp pain taking over my belly and I think, "Is this it? Is it Labortime? Should I wake up the hubs? Is everything at work left in decent order so they can manage without me for a while? Should I call my parents? They need to start driving now to get here in time. OMG I'm not ready for this. No, I'm ready, I can handle this. I better eat something now before they tell me I can't. Plus I'm parched!! OMG I didn't pack a bag! Shit shit shit!" Then I realize i just have to poop.

  I work at wegmans and was in the receiving dept when the carvel guy dropped off a delivery... I literally stopped what I was doing to drool over the massive amount of ice cream cakes he had. He laughed at me and had a look of sympathy that he couldn't give me one.
