It'll be almost exactly 3.5 years. In fact, since I'm having a scheduled c-section, we could arrange to have them exactly 3.5 years! DD's b-day is April 25, and Oct 25 would be in the week before my due date. I guess we'll see
Between DS#1 and DS#2 was almost 26 months. Between DS#2 and this LO will be about 20 months. Should be interesting! I honestly love the gap between the boys. I love that they already play together and that DS#1 is looking forward to sharing a room with his brother.
Just a little over 2 years...DD's birthday is July 29 and I won't go past October 2nd with the twins at 38 weeks. I wanted the 2 year gap so this is perfect.
BFP#1: 11/20/11, EDD 7/25/12, Emily Iris arrived 7/29/12 at 7 lb., 3.5 oz.
BFP#2: 8/25/13, EDD 5/4/14, MMC confirmed on 9/23/13, D&C on 9/26/13
BFP#3: 2/3/14, EDD 10/15/14, fraternal TWINS confirmed 2/21/14, two BOYS confirmed on 4/15/14!
We wanted two years apart between each child. Oldest will almost be 4 1/2, middle with almost be 2 1/2 when this one is born. DS 5/11/2010 DD 5/3/2012 New baby edd 10/24/2014
5 years between my boys and it was great. Only oldest was a huge help with his brother. When this baby comes they will almost be 11 and 6 I'm excited cause now I will have two helpers! I must admit the thought of having a high schooler and a child in kindergarten is frightening!!
There will be 5 years between the two almost exactly. If we could have afforded 2 in daycare they would have been closer. DD and little one will be in daycare together for 5 months and it is going to cost us 1300 a month! Our budget just can't handle that for more than a couple months
18 months between the first two then almost 5 years and 3.5 years with our third. I have no idea how the larger age gap will go but I'm sure it'll be fine!
3.5 years. My friends who spaced their kids out a bit had a lovely experience, so I feel good about our spacing (we waited to TTC until our son was 2.5 and it took a few months.)
I can see how closely spaced kids would make parents insane in the beginning, but that it would be really fun later on!
My oldest two are almost exactly 2 years apart. They are now 10 and 8 so there will be quite a big gap between them and the baby but the 8 year old is SO excited to be a big brother. He can't wait to find out if it will be a little sister (his choice) or a little brother.
@jenndub thanks for sharing those pic! Your children are beautiful!
My LO will be just about 3yrs 4m younger than DS. Like many, we would have liked them a little closer in age, but life happens I think it's going to actually be a great age gap.
There's 17 months between my youngest and oldest right now. There will be 18 months between my middle child and this baby, and 3 years between the newborn and my oldest.
