    Why won't he sleep? We're watching bubble guppies and rocking as my last attempt. If this doesn't work then SO gets to try. I need sleep.

    Btdt moms... When do babies outgrow the "you must be standing or I refuse to be comforted" rule? Seriously I thought that was a newborn thing... 10 months later...

    Grayson slept for 5 hours before waking up with a fever of 102.4. Looks like a doctor visit for us today.

    I'm a hot mess.  I get flare ups of tendinitis in my right wrist and I have it now.  Except I've also got "mother's thumb" going on in my left hand.  Two jacked up paws = no bueno.

    Oh and I had to pay $723 for new brakes and an oil change on my car over the weekend.  Sadness bank account :(

    The last 3 nights, J has woken up crying MULTIPLE times.  Most of the time it only lasts about 30 seconds and she goes back to sleep but last night it took a few minutes.  What the heck is going on with her?

    At LOs 9 month appt today, the doc called him "Average Joe" because his measurements were close to the 50%ile Height is 28.5" 54%ile Weight is 19lb 8oz 46%ile I'm just glad he's moving up the growth curve since we've been worried about his height and weight at different times.

    I asked the doc a couple of food questions. He said not to introduce strawberries until LO is 1yr. We don't have a family history of food allergies. Is this what you have been told as well?

    @PSNLS I've heard this before but my pediatrician only told me Honey and citrus last time.  And since it is Strawberry season, LO has already had many.  I think my SIL gave it to her first, but she loves them.  (We have no history of allergies either)

    I got to look like the worlds worst mother yesterday. We were out for dinner with my family DD was being fussy and didn't want to eat the pouch I had brought so I started handing her pieces of stir fried zucchini (one at a time). I was chatting with everyone at the table when the lady at the table beside us gets our attention to tell me DD is gagging (I think she thought she was choking). She has not gagged in ages, I felt like such a crappy mom.

    @PSNLS‌ our pediatrician said that he could have everything except shellfish, honey and peanut butter. She's old school and thinks we should wait on peanuts until kids are 1. We have been giving ds2 strawberries since he was about 7 months. My husband's cousin's daughter has a severe strawberry allergy but she gets it from her mom (who isn't blood a relative- just marriage) so I wasn't worried.

    @mcbush‌ When my LO was super congested, I put a pillow under one end of the crib mattress to prop it up just a little. It seemed to help.

    I was wondering about strawberries too. I feel like I suck at this whole food thing. KJ likes to feed herself but gets tired and bored after a short time because she can't get enough in her mouth. Or she just wants to play with the food. We normally feed her first then eat. When we eat she gets begs for our food. We give it to her. Bad habits...
