I have the rest of my meds coming tomorrow from Mandell's and I am suppose to start stims on Sunday!

QOTD: We got married in my hometown in VA by a marriage commissioner in her living room. I wish we would of done the big wedding thing, but 15 years ago weddings were not like they are now. Oh well guess we saved a lot of money!

QOTD: We got married where DH grew up. It's about 2 hours from where we live now. We got married in the same church as the rest of his siblings and had our reception at the same place as the rest of his siblings as well.

I had ER yesterday, so you can move to between ER/ET!! ER was a piece of cake because I was knocked out but, it wasn't a great experience afterwards. Couldn't get my pain under control so I was admitted to the PICU for a few hours before they'd let me go. I was not expecting that at all! But, they did get 21 eggs and 16 were mature and fertilized with ICSI. 14 of those made it to today! I was in a ton of pain because of my endo after ER yesterday, so I wasn't listening very well and thought they told me that they got 13 eggs. I have no clue where that number came from!

QOTD: We were married in my hometown, which is two hours away from where we were living at the time. I wanted to get married in the church where I grew up and luckily, my husband didn't care!

Great numbers @beachy6 !

I got back from my second monitoring appointment and they found a few more follies, although they wouldn't say exactly how many. I wish I had the old nurse back who was more specific with me! But it looked like she counted about 9. Now I just have to hope my E2 level goes up b/c it was only in the 40s on the last draw.

QOTD: We got married in Puerto Rico. Kind of destination although I grew up there and most of my extended family is there. So it felt a lot like a regular wedding, in a fun location. I mostly loved the week leading up the wedding when we all got a couple of condos with our friends and hung out. But then of course, I got really drunk on our honeymoon and was hungover most of the time - I need a redo of that!

Hi all!

@beachy6, great fertility report!!

AFM: I think I might have missed 1 or 2 checkins! Woops! I've been taking my estrace and going to my monitoring apts. Today I went in for bw and us and looks like I'll be starting the good old PIO tonight. I'll go back in on Monday for last check and Tuesday will be my FET!! Since I did PGD, I will be transferring 2 of my best quality embryos which is 1 boy and 1 girl! So crazy that I know that before the transfer!! I'm very nervous and hopeful about this time around. Hopeful bc we have two confirmed beautiful 6BA embryos but nervous bc if this doesn't work then I can't blame it on the embryos anymore and it means it's me with carrying. But I'm going to remain hopeful that this may be our time for us!

QOTD: We got married in the church that all my siblings and cousins all got married in and the reception was in a location that was between both of our hometowns. The church isn't even in either our hometowns but it was the church my mother and aunts all grow up with.

First Lining check was 6.6mm. Today was second lining check only went up to 6.8mm but Doctor said everyone is different and that I look ready to go. We got our transfer date today! We will be transferring 2 Frozen Embryos on Saturday April 12th!!! EEEEEEEK

Just hoping my lining increases more by then! Welcoming any and all suggestions or advice for that!

QOTD: DH and I got married in 2009 on our 8 year anniversary in Basking Ridge, NJ at the Olde Mill Inn. We're both NJ born and raised and still here haha I doubt we'll ever leave!

Hello Ladies, Everyone seems to be getting pretty good news and moving right along!! This is a fun, positive group. I hope we can continue to build each other up and reassure each other. Thank you ladies, for everything so far.

I had my last monitoring appointment today. My lining is at 13, and looking good. FET is scheduled for 4/11. I got my calendar for all the FET drugs and on my way out I made my pregnancy test appointment. I have never made one of these before and I kind of got butterflies and jitters. Its funny, I mean thats the overall goal of all this but something about it made me so nervous.

I hope everyone has a great rest of the week and a restful weekend.

QOTD: My husband and I are both native San Diegans, so we got married in Downtown San Diego at a historical hotel, it was amazing. Whenever I'm down, I watch our wedding video.

@beachy6 that’s great news!!!

My ultrasound didn’t go as well as I wanted. My E2 levels are great, my lining is great no problems there. I had 6 follies on my right side. The biggest one was 16 and the others were 12. On my left side I had 4 or 5 follies, but they were all pretty small. I’m going to continue with 225iu Gonal F and 225iu Meanopur and do another ultrasound and E2 count on Saturday. Hopefully we’ll have some growth. If not my RE will consider cancelling this cycle

Good Afternoon purrrrty ladies! Day 2 of Vivelle and Estradiol!! I go in for blood n ultrasound and lining check on the 11th. If all is going well, I am transferring a beautiful XY embie on the 17th! Fingers crossed to all!!

We've had 2 nights of stimming. I've used Follistim before and it kind of stings but man, Menopur- that pain is fierce. Haha. Not use if I am a weeny or its stronger. Have the first monitoring sonogram Saturday morning. Hoping for good news.

QOTD: We got married locally- a few towns over. This gorgeous church had an outdoor amphitheater and after counseling they allowed us to marry there. Loved it!

Hi Bunnies! I love the meme for today, too cute

Nothing new here, 5 days of BCP left and ordering my meds today. I went to my OB today for my annual exam/pap and basically had a meltdown in the room. She asked me what's new? she referred me to my RE back in October, and I really thought the next time I saw her I'd be pregnant, so I think between her asking and having to sit in a waiting room full of pregs, I just lost it. I feel fine now, but had a weak moment. God I hate IF. Looks like a lot of you are plugging along with your stims, best of luck to you! I hope April is a very successful month! Hugs to all that need them

Everything seems on track, I had a check today and I am staing on the same meds and returning Sat. Hope to get a transfer date then for some time next week!

QOTD--we got married in a church in the town we live in and had the reception about a 1/2 from there. We just past our 6 mnth anniversary, hoping to be a family of 3 for our 1 year!!!

I love the bunny pic! Oh, yes, that is exactly how I felt for all three IVF stim cycles (even though my egg count wasn't ever anything crazy high... 10, 14, and 9. I suppose the follie count being up over 17 didn't help). Our transfer is set for April 13th. For now, just continuing the Estrace up the hooha three times a day. DH is getting frisky, and I'm just not in the mood with all this blue discharge. I'm going to train DH so he's ready for PIO in case I need his help. I'm hoping to be able to manage on my own, but we'll see on Tuesday when I try for the first time

Hi Bunnies! I LOVE the pic - that was totally me both my IVF cycles but the 2nd one in Feb in particular! Very excited I get to be hormone free (other than Crinone suppositories) this time so no bloating!! (Natural FET)

As for me - no updates yet. Still waiting for AF to arrive and then will start u/s and b/w monitoring. So sometime next week I should have my baseline appointment.

We decided this week that we will only transfer 1 blast. We learned there is only a small increase in the odds of pregnancy for my diagnosis and age group when transferring 2 vs 1, but of course a 30% incidence of twins. And we aren't comfortable with the risks - at least not for the first FET.

QOTD: We got married in Boston where we live, though neither of us is from here, so in addition to our immediate families, it was a 'destination' wedding for all our friends, family, guests- just not for us!

ETA: Wishing all of you lovely ladies lots of good luck this cycle!

Hey Ladies, still not sure if I will be a snuggle bunny or not, WTF appt is tomorrow and I currently on CD 3, if we do go right into it, they are doing my baselines tomorrow after my appt with the RE.

QOTW: DH and I were married right outside my hometown, we weren't married at my home church because it wasn't big enough my my minister married us. It was the most perfect day of my life, not because everything went right, just because everything felt right. We celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary last Saturday.

Please add me. This is IVF #3- I can't believe this is my third and last chance. I went in today after 10 days of stimming and I'm still not ready to trigger. Maybe tomorrow. Follicles are 10-21mm and there are 13 of them. I am on 375 Gonal F, 1 vial of Menopur, and .5 of HGH. I am also taking Prednisone and did an intralipid infusion today for the partial dq alpha match with dh.

Please let this be it for all of us.

AFM, I haven't taken a birth control pill since 3/31 and I'm still waiting on Day 1. Grr. Last time it took 4 full days, so I'm not worried, just aggravated. I want to get this show on the road already.

QOTD: We got married near our hometowns. I loved our wedding, I remember it as a perfect moment in time. The people around us in our lives have changed over the years but we are still just as happy together as we were that day. Ahh love...

@Beachy6 that's a great report, hope you feel better soon! As for me, I am on day 8 of stims and my e2 is definitely rising more steadily than it did for IVF #1. By this point in that cycle, I was probably already at the 2000 mark and they had already made the decision to switch me to a Lupron trigger. Today it was at 943, and my follicles are all growing steadily too, with quite a few all around the same size. So I am hopeful for a better outcome this time around. Started getting a ton of EWCM today and it's freaking me out that I'm going to ovulate early, but I'm on day 2 of ganirilex and just telling myself that the odds are low of that happening.

QOTD: We got married in Chicago, and one of our best friends from college was our officiant. It was perfect.

Hi, I'm Angie. I'm new to IVF and to this site. I'm enjoying reading about everyone and it is so helpful to hear where everyone is on their IVF cycle! We started stims 6 days ago. I went in for blood work on day 4 and my E2 level was 21.7. RE kept me at 20 units micro-lupron and 225 Gonal-F. She's hoping I'm just a slow starter. I go in tomorrow (Apr. 4) for ultrasound and more blood work. We are hoping that we will see some major improvement in my E2 numbers. Fingers crossed! ER was originally planned for 4/9, but it may be pushed back for more stimming.

@Ham113 I had a ton of EWCM this time too. It had me freaking out until they put me out for ER! I'd read that the E2 rising makes this happen, but it still scared me. You're not alone!! It's completely normal.

Looks like I'm late again, but saw I'm on the list (woo hoo) so I'll check in:
FET is still scheduled for Tuesday! Eeekk! Started my PIO last night. DH did it for me...luckily... I dont think I could do it myself...those are big suckers!
Anybody have any advice about dietary restrictions I should be following?
Also can anybody advise if I should take the day after the transfer off from work? My job is kind of high stress and I'm on my feet all day, but not sure if its necessary at that point...

Qotw: we got married at whatever church and whatever reception hall would take us bc we wanted to get married right away and it was all beautiful...we got married 4 months after he proposed! People thought it was a shotgun wedding...we certainly proved them wrong

Got my box of goodies yesterday! I don't even know how to feel. Sounds like everyone is progressing nicely. Congrats beachy on such a great fert report!
We got married close to our old apartment. It was a huge deal finding a church...the church I grew up in and the one my mom goes to every week wouldn't marry us because I never joined the church (aka didn't give them money). Then we found another church we loved and really liked the priest but we couldn't go there because it was not in our diocese. When we finally settled on the church, 3 months before the wedding the priest was arrested for embezzlement of a half million dollars!!! Quite the story to tell!

Hi Bunnies,
We are all systems go for a FET next Thursday. I'm starting to get nervous now! PIO starts tomorrow night and I am scared spitless. Any advice for a needle-phobic newbie? The Viagra has ended, thankfully, but my lining is only 7.5. I know it will go down once PIO starts, so I'm a little concerned about that. I had my first of three Neupogen infusions yesterday, so hopefully that makes a difference. It better! I paid enough for it!

DH and I were married on a lake about a half hour north of where we live. Not hometown for either of us, we're both transplants, but a beautiful location. And our pastor was the Navy chaplain that was on base where he was born, so that was kind of nice.

@SuperPsi You'll get tons of advice for the PIO shots. The way I do them is to numb the area with an ice pack for 15 minutes before DH gives me my shot. I don't even feel it. Then after the shot DH rubs the area pretty firmly so I don't get lumps. It's always worked great for me. I also lay on my side when he does it and watch TV. Then, my mind is distracted. That helps a lot, too. Lots of women say not to use the ice pack because the oil won't go into the muscle correctly, but this has never been an issue for me. My RE was the one who suggested it, so I'm assuming that he knows something! My progesterone checks have always come back perfect (in the 50's) so my PIO is finding it's way to where it needs to be just fine. And, I much prefer it pain free!!

@Mozzarella13 My Lupron needles seemed MUCH duller this time, too. Wonder what that's all about. My Follistim ones were fine though, so hopefully your's will be, too. When giving the Lupron shots, on three separate occasions, the needle bounced off my skin and wouldn't go in. WTH was that about?! They bruised me much more this time, too. Hang in there and this part will all be over soon enough!!

I'm late checking in this week. Lots of great progress from everyone, though. Let's keep it up ladies! (((Hugs))) to those who are having some difficulties with stubborn follicles. FX no one has to cancel.

I had my baseline on Wed this week and everything was good so I've started the injection process. Two days of micro dose Lupron and then I add in the stimms starting on Friday evening (tonight, ugh). Starting to feel tired and restless already. I'm hoping the next 10 days flies by.

My DH and I got married in Newport, RI. It's about 2 hours from where we live. We had a gorgeous sunset wedding on the water. The weather was just perfect and it was beautiful!

And me, one more time.. sorry for the multiple posts. Just got done with the RE for my WTF appt. Things went well. She has 'no idea why this didn't work for us...' i hate hearing that, hate it. DH went off on her and said, 'you are the one that went to school for 9 years, you tell us' .. anyways. Looks like no break for us, she doesn't want us to lose momentum. She is changing our protocol. Pending baseline results today I will start BCP on Sunday for 3 weeks then move to lupron for a 'more slow and steady approach'. I am comforted to know there is nothing wrong and she wants us to move forward but something still doesn't feel right. At least I have a plan, right?

@ejrobbi Good you have a plan and are staying a snuggle bunny! My RE has the tendency to be very vague and not say definitive answers (I guess for fear of me over analyzing or holding him accountable for too many things)...so I definitely understand the uneasiness when they still don't have a clear answer as to what went wrong. But it sounds like they are confident and it's good they are trying a different protocol.

I'm a day late to the party. Ooops. Love catching up on where everyone is at! Had my 3rd monitoring appointment this morning and I trigger tomorrow (Sat) and retrieval is Monday!! Feeling very optimistic so I hope that feeling remains.

QOTD: We got married in Virginia Beach even though I'm from NC and hubby is from TN. He was stationed near there at the time (I was stationed in NC) and he'd always dreamed of a beach wedding. It was super simple and we loved it. Now that I'm a photographer and know so much about weddings, I'm glad we got married before we were in the industry... now I know too much and I'd want too many extras!
