Mine is that I'm apparently and somewhat unintentionally doing the 'no poo' hair care routine with B. She'll be a year old tomorrow and has never had any kind of shampoo on her hair.
It's not like I'm against shampoo, I just thought I'd use it when I need to, and I haven't needed to - her hair looks and smells great. She takes a bath every night and I wet it every few days, but that's it.
Aaaand, I wasn't gonna admit it, but I guess I'm halfway there, so full disclosure, I haven't used soap on her yet either. Not on purpose, but she doesn't really get dirty yet, so I haven't seen the need.

Same! I have body wash and shampoo...but for some reason every night I just rinse her and pat with a washcloth. I do lotion her up though.

Meh...I've used shampoo only a handful of times, and rarely soap. Especially during this hellish winter. Her skin gets so dry. We go through lotion like crazy.

What about soap on her bum and crotch?
Water and a washcloth. Plus, those areas are getting wiped down pretty often with wipes at diaper changes.
It's been a stressful couple of weeks - I was out of town for work last week from Monday - Thursday, in-laws arrived on Wednesday last week for DD's birthday last Saturday and stayed with us (finally left on Wednesday)! Then we had a leak in the basement and one of the rooms got soaked (thankfully it happened after the party since we had it down there) and then the sewer upstairs got backed up and the whole house stunk! We got it fixed yesterday and I just took today off to get some rest and have the house to myself for the first time in a while. I just got home from dropping DD off at daycare, then DH announced he is working from home today! It took all I had not to scream!!!

I'm right there with you. Charlie's pediatrician where we used to live was a huge supporter of letting babies skin learn how to make its own oils before putting all kinds of crap on it. We hardly used soap and never lotion on him for the first year-ish and now he has GREAT skin! We do the same with Ginny, but she seems to get a little dirtier for some reason so we end up using soap more often, but definitely not every time.

Soap isn't good for the vagina in general, ever. Even bubble bath isn't recommended for little girls.

It bothers me when someone pins something on Pinterest and they don't change the description. For example: someone posts a kid activity and the caption says "I bet Sarah and John will LOVE this!" Then 15 more people pin it without changing it! Drives me CRAZY.

Apparently I need some new underwear.

Ha. Yes he definitely has no filter. And since my ass is about the only good physical feature I have going for me, I was a little weirdly flattered by it. But mostly just mortified.

@Kate_C - not cool.
I have a few today.
1.) tomorrow is LOs big party. I wish my husband would lower his give a damn factor. Yesterday we had a full on argument about whether or not we needed to serve Mac and cheese.....grrrrrr. I want to enjoy this party too and he's ruining it for me with his demands.
2.) and I preface this one with swearing I am not white trash. I am worried about people drinking too much at the party. We have too many people to do it at our house - so were doing it at the local Italian club - which has a bar. I wanted there to be drinks so were picking up the bar tab (at $2/beer it ShOULD be comparable to what I would spend at the liquor store if I was providing)......but now I'm sort of freakingbout about it. My husband has some friends that seriously need to grow up (actually his BIL who took shots at my daughters baptism is the worst).....and I worry they will have more than just a couple. Not to mention we live in CT and there is a UCONN game at 6:30 and I fear the party will Segway into this. All I want to do tomorrow night when this is over is sit in my couch and drink a bottle of wine. I see these plans getting crashed and I'm so sick of the fact that these are the things I worry about when my husbands friends and family is involved.
3.) lets talk about my sex life. I had a really good one pre pregnancy. Since then - I confess I have faked it several times. I think sex is a really important component to a good marriage, and I have no interest to get it elsewhere and don't want my husband to, so I put out. But I really hate that I can't get back to a place where I look forward to it and enjoy it

I may or may not have had a small (and by small I mean large) chunk of that smash cake this morning for breakfast.
I was supposed to be taking today as a vacation day, but now it's shitty out so I canceled J's 1-year pics, and and "working from home," which really means "watching TV with the laptop in my lap." Brought J to daycare and the cleaners are hard at work...
My confessions - I may or may not have used a baby bottle to measure my wine last night. I then went over my daily points allotment with said wine and popcorn.
When we have wine with dinner, LO is always welcomed to share with us. He basically just shoves his hand in the glass even though the rule is "one finger"... European-style child rearing, here we go.

E gets at least her hair washed just about every time I give her a bath...I love how her shampoo smells.
My confessions - I may or may not have used a baby bottle to measure my wine last night. I then went over my daily points allotment with said wine and popcorn. It was that kind of week.
And this morning there may or may not have been a super faint second line on a frer. Im not going to check again for a couple days just in case my eyes were playing tricks on me. Im also not telling anyone but you ladies until I do check again. Id only be 3 weeks at this point...
i have spent WAY too much money on DD's birthday party.. OVERBOARD
You know, it just adds up really fast. We had a tiny party (11 adults and 3 kids including LO), and I still probably spent about $375... for pizza, cake, fruit/veggie platter, beverages, decor, cake, extra smash cake, ridiculous smash cake outfit, and "1" t-shirts.
@jdubb13 note that I loved that million times mentally.
@JBDamonM this happened at our party but I got some of the guys to clean up while they were buzzed so it turned out ok
I have been "testing" cupcake recipes for DD's birthday for uh two weeks now. I'm still not sure i am satisfied with my choice. To make it worse, I may want to do a cake instead. I would have to test that first, too.
My confession is that for some reason, I let it bother me a tiny bit when someone who shall remain nameless, skips over pics I post on hdbd, but likes all the others. I'm even more embarrassed to confess that I care to notice. Oh well, I know she doesn't like me so I'm not sure why it comes as a surprise to me.
omg I always get distracted part way through HDBD and probably accidentally miss a few likes! Now I'm paranoid! I love all the pics even if I forget to click like!

I confess that I have spent any and all breaks today frantically reading Gone Girl because I REALLY want to participate in the book club discussion. (This is when I SHOULD have been grading papers, let's be real). Unfortunately, I'm still only 20% through!

My internet cuts out randomly so I try and like things as fast as I can.. if I can't.. then I get paranoid someone will notice I liked some people's pictures and not others. (For the record I like to actually open the picture and look at it rather than glance at it, every baby is so cute) and if I can't open the picture right away I don't like it just yet...
I confess I am tired of all the "people don't like my posts" " people get more likes than me" nonsense. If people don't like you, your picture, what you said etc. then they don't like it! People shouldn't be guilted into liking stuff for the sake of liking it.
This is going to get me off on a tangent about social media and how it's made people soft and so desperate for people's acceptance and approval. I'm just as guilty sometimes, don't get me wrong. But this whole "liking" phenomen on social media has made people way more insecure than they were 10 years ago
And this isn't a direct call out of @cece2682 , this issue has come up many times on here
If you don't have a "love it"/ "Like" system, then you have a point system.
Look at FB, luckily it doesn't keep count of all the likes you have but it encourages witty and stupid responses or saying something edgy in your status to get likes.
On here, it keeps track of how many love its you have and the point system for making/posting in threads and what not.
I am glad to near others empathizing about the cost of the parties. When we used to do those polls I wondered how many people were doing it for so little. I am already around 400 and still need to buy the food and booze. I'm having serious anxiety about spending this much

@ceamac0127 oh not everyone has to like my pics or what I post. I don't think that at all and wasn't trying to guilt anyone into liking anything. I just notice this one person does it and I know it's because they don't like me very much, which is totally fine. I was just confessing I noticed. And now I'm embarrassed. X_X
Like I said, this was not a direct call out on you, it has happened many times

Reddit and similar places have a point system...
People eat that shit up.
I'll admit I am totally guilted into 'liking' pictures on HDBD and Mommy and me because I don't need people thinking I am this baby hating monster. But in all honesty, I'm just lazy and don't want to take the time to 'like' them all.
Omg I'm paranoid now too about liking people's stuff, sometimes I press like but don't see my little avatar come up then I click it again and I think that unlilkes so I click again.
Another confession; I lurk on all the Gone Girl book club posts but am embarrassed to participate because I read the book last year and forgot most of it. Good thing the movie will remind me!
