Mine all suck

I ended up having dinner and drinks with Ron Jeremy one night in Vegas

My former assistant went to high school with Britney Spears (extremely small all girls academy, I think 12 girls graduated in their class)

My other coworker's girlfriend left him for K-Fed

My college team mate placed 4th on Survivor and dated Jeff Probst.

One night I was drunk and spit saltines on Dan Akroid'd personal assistant. Oops O_O

Hmmm...one of my teammates in college was Garth Brooks' niece (his brother's daughter). When he gave a concert nearby we all got to go and go backstage. That's all I got.

Vanilla Ice graduated a year or two ahead of my DH in Dallas, Tx. DH's teachers said Rob roamed the halls & was just as douchey wanna be then as he came to be during his prime music days.

ETA: Remembered another one.

I used to be in the same circle of friends as Corey Martinez the Red Bull sponsored BMX competitor.

I went to school with Shiloh Fernandez, actor in Red Riding Hood. He hasn't been in much else, but he was hot as hell back in the day(also a total stoner) and I drunkenly dirty danced with him at a school dance once. He still is hot as hell as evidenced below.

Charles Barkley called me sweetie, or some other pet name like that, when I helped him in my former life working in retail. I also helped Whoopie Goldberg over the phone in that job.

I designed Vern Yip's walk in closet.

My DH used to party with Lucky.

I saw Jean Claude Van Damme at the Atlantis in the Bahamas.

I saw Al Roker on Easter Day in NYC a few years back.

My father is an owner of a minor league hockey team, so there's some connections there, depending on who you know.

I ran into Lil Jon in a hotel lobby. Had drinks and sushi with Vanilla Ice. Back when backstreet boys were really big and doing stadium tours, their tour bus broke down so my dad gave Justin Timberlake a ride back to their hotel.

My other cousin knows one of the dudes on old reruns of law and order.

That same cousin is close with one of the women on Grey's anatomy. She's actually her children's god mother.

My uncle went to school with patti labelle. And we're neighbors to some old school Motown group.

I have two ex-boyfriends who are kind of/not really semi-famous people. One played for the New Orleans Saints (although he barely saw any field time) and the other is a drummer of a pretty popular punk band. He's a douche.

Now I'm married to a normal guy! Which totally trumps dudes who can be googled....

I have never figured it out but I'm sure I'm within 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon! ;-)

I have had a ton of celebrity sightings because I lived in Malibu for several years (and then worked in L.A. for several years). However, whenever I see a celebrity, my instant reaction is to totally play it cool and act like I don't know who they are, even though inside I'm like "!!!!!!"

Some of my "favorites":

My very first time ever in Malibu, I was sitting right next to John Cusack at a lunch place (Coogies) and I was like "Malibu is my destiny :x" Haha.

For some reason, Gary Busey was often hanging around Malibu and would always strike up conversations with my boyfriend at the time.

There is this sandwich place in Malibu called "Malibu Kitchen," and I always thought the guy behind the sandwich counter was a little bit like the soup nazi from Seinfeld because he would be super grumpy if you didn't know what you wanted or if you were talking on your cell phone. And one time as I was walking out, Jerry Seinfeld and his wife were walking in!

One time there was construction on a main road, and there were cones moving the lanes each over one. And suddenly a car was coming toward us (the car went down the wrong makeshift lane) and we were like, "who is this idiot?!?" It turned out it was Dick Van Dyke. I really wish he would have hit us. Not so I could sue him or anything, I would have totally let it go. But it would have been an excuse to actually talk to him. He was so cute and just waved at us to say sorry as he cut back into the correct lane.

I'm not catholic but I regularly attended catholic mass with my then boyfriend (who was catholic) and Martin Sheen was almost always at the same service. I shook his hand a number of times for the "peace be with you" and always tried to act as natural as possible and refrain from referring to him as Mr. President ;-)

I've sat next to Jane Seymour, her husband, and twins during a movie in Malibu, and one time I sat behind Tea Leoni and David Duchovny. I missed most of the movie (Music & Lyrics) because I was so distracted by whether they thought certain parts were funny!

One time I was in line behind the guy who played Peter in Heroes (back when Heroes was still cool). I was talking on the phone with my mom and lost the ability to speak. Even though he was short, and I had a boyfriend at the time, he seemed so unbelievably attractive in person I couldn't speak. So awkward!

There are others but those are the ones that immediately come to mind. Again, I didn't actually meet any of these people so not nearly as cool as other people's celebrity encounters... I pretended I had no idea who they were ;-)

Tells you how much I know about the actual bands, but yes it was in NSYNC not Backstreet boys

And although I am aging myself, there are no other boy bands after New Kids on the Block!

I met Jennie Garth at a mall fashion show when I was in elementary school.

A guy I went to HS with was on Passions (awful soap opera!)

I danced on a bar in NYC with one if the girls from that Coyote Ugly reality show in CMT.

While on Spring Break in college in Jamaica, my friends and I hung out with the band American Hi Fi and Matt Pinfield (from MTV) before their show.

Not really a celebrity, per-se, but I was at a wedding with a US Field Hockey Olympian

I think that's it but I feel like I am missing a big one!!!

I went to high school with Matt Mason, he is currently attempting to make it big in Nashville and was also on CMTs Next Super Star in 2011. He sat behind me in Algebra and would quote Oh Brother Where Art Thou.

I met little big town in college at a concert on campus.

I was at the mall on the north side of Indy in 2007 the day before the colts playoff game waiting for my aunt to finish checking out inside the store when then head colts coach Tony Dungy walked by with his family smiled at me and said hi, my aunt didn't believe me until she verified he was indeed in the mall.

I also met Nick Motil, a musician who performs in Vegas mostly but is from Indiana. He used to do concerts at my college and actually sent me a friend request on fb then asked me to tag him in a pic of myself, a couple friends, and him.

I met the roadies for Def leopard while working 3rd shift at McDonalds in 2006, that was pretty cool.

I also met a local Christian Band while working at McDonalds and we had a discussion about lefties. The following day my sister and I went to Contemporary Music Day at the State Fair, that band was there performing and when we went to get CDs and signatures the guys remembered me from the night before, my sister was laughing in disbelief that just happened.

I've had quite a few and lots of celebrity sightings.

Keifer Sutherland bought me a ton of beer at a bar when I was 18. He was very nice, and it's his thing to buy people drinks (according to gossip).

I named Tori Spellings bed and breakfast in a contest and went to the opening. I found out that her husband did construction and he built my house.

I won another contest and had brunch with Mario Lopez. He is a tiny, tiny, tiny man.

Kevin Smith thought my husband was Jon Hamm. Best wife moment ever.

John Stamos is a lovely man, and I have a picture with him. I've met him twice.

DH's aunt's brother in law was college roommates with Matthew McConaughey in Austin. They remained close friends. He got cancer and died this past year and Matthew and his wife Camila attended the funeral. We all got to see them. They also send DH's aunt's family Christmas cards, etc.

I played black jack for a couple hours in Vegas with Kellan Lutz (one of the vampires from Twilight). At the time, Twilight was just about to come out but it wasn't out yet. I had absolutely no clue who he was.

I met Brad Womack (former bachelor) in Austin at his bar.

I've hung out with Polly Shore at a comedy club in L.A. That was super awkward by the way.

I met Beyonce and the rest of Destiny's Child when I was young at Astro World (an amusement park here in Houston) back when they first came on the scene. It was a free concert on the grass where hardly anyone attended. They came down off the stage after and talked to everyone.

I met Ludacris in a hotel lobby at the Galleria back when the Superbowl was in Houston (what year was that?) He came up to my boobs when I had heels on.

I've met/ talked to Chelsea Handler (back before she had her shows on E! and she would actually talk to you).

My dad's related to Kenny G.

My dad's whole family is pretty famous in Vancouver and the Jewish community. Not "celebrities" per se, but well known.

My brother's friend's cousin is married to Duncan Keith (Chicago Blackhawks).

DH and I met Willie Mitchell several years ago at the Minneapolis/St Paul airport.

Seen many celebrities filming movies/TV shows in my hometown (they film Once Upon a Time there, Richmond, BC).

I feel like I have more even, but can't think of them! Vancouver is apparently Hollywood North after all.

Mine are so lame.

I've run into/dined in the same restaurant as Shawn Johnson (Olympic gymnast) on multiple occasions.

My CWs sister is married to Marcia Cross's (Desperate Housewives) brother and she was at their wedding.

When I was about 4, Willard Scott (he used to be the weather man on the TODAY show) was at this festival in my hometown. I ran up to him and said, "Hey Willard, remember me?!" (I thought he knew I watched him on TV every morning) and apparently he was a total asshole. I don't remember it, but my dad loves to tell that story.

I met Chip Kidd (a famous book designer of whom only design nerds like me would know) at a design conference two years ago. He was super funny!

And I just met Big Al and J-Si from Kidd Kraddick in the Morning (syndicated radio show) and the show Dish Nation last week.

I work in the music industry, so I have seen a lot people walking around backstage and what not.

I have only gotten starstruck twice. Once with Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavs player) and I got my picture with him and pretty sure I made a complete ass of myself. MY FFFC- The other time a got starstruck was with Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. He was getting off an elevator and I was getting in and inside I was screaming like a little fan girl. Don't judge me y'all!!!!!!!

When he came in I was trying to be all professional and cool about so I was asking if it was a his & hers closet assuming it was for a client or something and he got all "no, this is for my husband and I." I felt so silly because I didn't want him to think I had any problems with that or anything, I was just trying to figure out who would be using the space.

I was friends in HS with 2 NFL players. One is a QB and the other is a defensive lineman.

Tony Romo lives down the street from my office and I also ran into our center, Travis Fredrick at Tom Thumb. We drive by Jerry Jones' house every Christmas to look at lights in his neighborhood. Wish I could egg it!

I was at a shopping mall in San Antonio one time where Britney Spears was shopping. They had the store closed for her, but we were all watching her through the windows. How annoying.

I would often see Matthew McConaughey at UT football games back in 2002-2005.

DH went to high school with Jessica and Ashley Simpson.

DH also knew the members of Pantera as his best friend would practice with them. RIP Dimebag

Nothing super exciting, but that's it.

I knew a girl who dated Jonah Hill. I met the dad from the Olsen twins' show Two of a Kind when he was in Spamalot on Broadway. My dad grew up with Naomi Judd (and his older brother grew up with Ashley). My mom cut Robert Redford's hair. Garrett Wang from Star Trek Voyager asked ME for a picture with him at Dragon Con because I was dressed as Seven of Nine (and I got to chat with other sci fi stars, not the least of whom was Eliza Dushku). My husband's cousin went to school and church with Ashton Kutcher. I met Aaron Carter 13 years ago and he stepped on my hand at a concert (he didn't mean to, I was leaning across the front of the stage). My dad ran into Brian from the Backstreet Boys at the liquor store. I think that's all of mine....

I went to school with Katie Holmes. She was a senior and I was a freshman. I didn't know her but remember her coming into my English class to tell our teacher that she got the job (Dawson's Creek). When she left the room our teacher said "Mark my word, Kate's going to be famous!" Never imagined she'd marry Tom Cruise one day.
I met Brian VanderArk from The Verve Pipe at an open mix and he complimented my music.
