Mine is super lame, but Kate Goslin (Jon & Kate plus 8), graduated from my school. It was a super small Christian school, I was in like kindergarten or first grade when she graduated, but she used to "babysit" me and my brothers - mostly her sister watched us and she took the money.

She's just as crazy in real life as she seems on tv.

Casey Blake (a former MLB third baseman) graduated from my HS and I graduated with his sister. He hosts camps and stuff all the time in my hometown.

I've met Julia Roberts. She and her hubby were filming a documentary nearby a hotel I worked at. They came in to settle down for a few hours and she had me carry her luggage. She was not a friendly person.

My sister was good friends with super model, Real Houswives, and Dancing with tge stars celebrity Joanna Krupa. She used to come to our house for birthday parties:)

Let's see...I've met the Beach Boys. At the time, John Stamos was touring with them as their drummer, so I met him too. And he was dating Paula Abdul, and she had come along, so I met her too. All this at the age of 5. Hahaha.

Not a "celebrity", per se, but my cousin is the former governor of Utah.

I've met Jerry Rice. That man has hands that go on for days haha. No wonder he's so amazing!

I've also met Lincoln Kennedy. He played on the Raiders, and he now sells insurance in my area.

I met Mel Gibson & James Garner while they were filming the movie "Maverick" in Yosemite National Park.

Speaking of Yosemite, I met Brad Pitt in one of the bars there. My mom was his bartender, and he signed a $50 and gave it to her as a tip.

My hubby's 2nd cousin is the drummer (I think?) for Jimmy Eat World.

And I've met Glenn Beck. He's really into a choir that my dad sings in, and often comes to their concerts. He'll be at their concert again in a couple weeks.

I think there's one or two I'm missing, but that's all I can think of.

The guy who wears short shorts on Reno 911 used to come into the restaurant I worked at during Christmas. My cousin saw lady gaga at the airport. Her picture of gaga is like a millisecond different than tmz I have met Jim gaffigan I "was on" the Jay Leno show and shook his hand I've waited on a few Bengals players and had no idea.

Don Knotts was some sort of convoluted cousin to me... we share another cousin who looks and sounds just like him too.

ETA: I forgot my favorite one... I was asked on a date by Nate Hartley (known mostly for bit parts where he plays a nerd on different Disney shows, including one where he asked Miley Cyrus to prom, and Wade on "Drillbit Taylor") long before he got into show business. His little cousin goes to school with my brother, and he spent parts of his summers with his aunt and uncle. I told him to try again when his voice changed. lol

If we are talking connections: Tom Welling from Smallville went to my high school. My mom went to high school with Madonna for a while but didn't know her. Tm Allen and Jeff Daniels both own property near my grandparents, apparently Jeff Daniels is super nice but Tim Allen isn't. DH and I were in a music video with Yaya Han which gives us a degree of Kevin Bacon of 5. Tara Lipinski stole my table at a restaurant. If we're talking people I've met and talked with at least once: All of the Mythbusters The entire cast of Star Trek TNG, and half the cast of TOS John Noble Robert Carradine Curtis Armstrong Joss Whedon Stan Lee Sean Astin Carey Elwes (he even gave me a hug) Peter Mayhew Rob Riggle Patrick Warburton (got a hug from him too, he was very sweaty) The Oatmeal (Matthew Inman) And just this last weekend we met and talked to: Alan Tudyk Karl Urban Nancy Cartwright Karen Gillan And we collect autographs, so we have them for most of these people.

When I was a kid I was in the Lenny Kravitz video for "Let Love Rule". There were a few scenes in Central Park in NYC, and I was one of the kids dancing and following him around. He was married to Lisa Bonet at the time and I met her and their daughter too.

I met Regis and Kathy Lee in NYC, and got to tour the Eye Witness News studio while we were waiting for their show to start.

My sister and I were on the Nickelodeon show Kid's Court once. We found the episode on youtube last year and it was hilarious to watch.

I've only got one, but I almost always win the Kevin Bacon game with it. I know his sister in law well. We worked together. After that I'm out, unless you consider Justin Timberlake and are both from Memphis suburbs.

I live a neighborhood over from George Strait. He shops at the same grocery store I shop at but I haven't run into him in the 3 years I've lived here in SATX.

My brother met Jamie Foxx while he was in L.A. for school.

I grew up with and sang in choir with Amber Riley. I grew up with Arjay Smith as well, he's like a big brother to me. I went to Smokie Robinson's daughters baby shower and small talked with him in his kitchen before I even knew who he was (I was young). My husband met tony hawk at work when they were working on his game for activision.. I was in the car--does that count?? Oh I got to meet Taboo and his family when he would frequent my job at Hot Dog on a Stick in high school...I gotta find that picture...Ummmm.... I have met a few others but nothing special...

Yes, the grassy patch if course! I grew up in Houston (still living here) and I remember seeing Selena there. Never got to meet her, but the memories of that park! I miss it so.

I didn't think I had anything to share but I've cut Jessica Alba's parents and brothers hair. She's from a small town in SoCal. She lives in Beverly Hills but her parents and brother stayed local. They're really nice people.

I thought of a random one.. .Not really a celebrity, but Rob Marciano (now a CNN anchor) used to be a weatherman for a local news channel in Portland, Oregon.  One time, a small group from my journalism class got to go to the station and stand in the room during the evening broadcast.  Rob Marciano was running late to get over to the green screen and do the weather, and he came barreling in the room without warning and just shoved me out of the way and said "get out of the way!" without even saying sorry (for the shoving) or just asking me to move.  It has been over 15 years since that happened, and I still feel bitter when I see him on TV.  I can hold a grudge a long time, y'all.

Technically Joe Pantoliano (Francis the bald brother in the Goonies and he is a character actor in a million other movies) is my second cousin, but i disowned that part of my family long ago, so I've never actually met him.

Nyambi Nyambi (Samuel on Mike and Molly) was a buddy of mine in college, and we are Facebook friends.

I once saw Christian Bale making out with his wife in LA. I yelled "I loved newsies!" from across the street (i was pretty drunk and in college).

I got drunk at a wedding with Tim Legler the ESPN basketball analyst... He kept buying shots for my husband who ended up throwing up when we got back to our room. To this day every time we see him on tv, DH says "fucking Legler".

My Friend Illana was just in a superbowl ad and played a show girl in house of cards last year.

Well, I'm a little late to this thread, but I'll throw mine in:

I have a few small sports/political connections, but the one person that most people would recognize is Demi Lovato. I was in the same grade as her big sister, Dallas, and went to school with her from 3rd-9th grade.  I never liked them that much - Dallas was ok, but a real airhead, and all I remember of Demi was an annoying kindergartener with a chili bowl haircut.

Their mom was nice, but a bit stagemom-ish.

It's not that exciting of a connection - I feel "meh" about Demi.

I went to college with they guy who played Phil Verchota in the movie Miracle.  He played on the team that won the DIII National Championship, and I worked for that team.

I've met 2 of the players from the Miracle on Ice team.

I kicked the ball around and had a team picture taken with a major professional soccer team in Europe (FK Sarajevo - they usually play in UEFA Champions League or the Europa League).

Oh forgot one. I met Jamie Cullum once. Doubt most of you have heard of him, but he is a crooner like Michael Buble, but mostly popular in Europe.

I hugged Weird Al when I was 13.  This was during his Coolio phase, and I had a giant crush on him for months after that :-/

A couple of years ago, I was at a concert and was selected, handcuffed, and led backstage with five other people for a private show from Jane's Addiction.  I grabbed Dave Navarro's ass and winked at him on the way out.  DH was waiting in the audience freaking out that I was about to miss the show, he had no idea what was happening.

I'm so excited to say that as of last week, I've got a second degree Kevin Bacon connection!  My cousin just appeared on his tv show and met him.  And everyone else on it, but Bacon is what matters here.
