    Vent~ The girl that does my invitations really dropped the ball so far with DD's birthday invite. We have plenty of time but basically she totally ignored everything we talked about, wording included, and just slapped something together bc she got busy. I rather her tell me "I'm running behind, give me a few days" than rush and then have to start over again. Ugh. 

    AW~ She did a great job on the buffet table labels for the baptism. 

    Vent~ DH is going out of town for the whole week next week, so I'll be preparing lunch for 40 with a teething 4 mo. old and a super busy 9 year old. Oh yay.

    Random~ I think it's time for new tennis shoes...I can smell them. :(

    Vent- Z has been oh so whiney today. Lordy.

    Random- my mom got a new phone. She went from having an iPhone to a samsung. Every time I text her it sends an iMessage & she doesn't get it. I deleted her & re-added her contact as mobile & it still sends iMessages. How do I fix this?! Grrrr!

    Aw- I'm starting to plan Z's birthday party! Reserved a place today at the marina! So excited!

    Vent: sinus infection + allergies + morning sickness. FML

    Also, project in Eastern Oregon fell thru and I'm super disappointed. Even though living in my beautiful house in a nice convenient city isn't the end of the world... I just really crave adventure and change and new experiences. So I guess I better get to work on my garden.

    Random: today at the kids cafe DS met a newborn baby. He said he was scared of him and his behind the couch.

    AW: since I'm not moving I decided we need some ducklings this year. Baby ducks are the cutest of all baby poultry.

    Vent: drove 45 minutes to a larger than life consignment sale this morning. They had the new mom pre-sale last night and they opened at 8 today. We got there at 10 and the boys clothes were wiped out. :( That was my entire reason for going. I managed to snatch 3 polos and a pair of shorts, thankfully, because on the way home, ds got so worked up because he hates the car that he barfed on himself. Awesome. So wasn't worth the time, gas and effort.

    Vent/Random: I was going to post this in the FFC thread, actually, but by the time I got there the bloody thing was 8 pages long and I didn't want to get this all mixed up w/ the bach party/pukey kid fiasco....

    DH called me during choir practice last night (I never have my phone out during rehearsal, but I was checking the scores of the Dayton/Stanford game between pieces....that was the confession part lol) to tell me that L fell and "bit through his lip" and was worried we'd have to take him to the hospital. So I book it out of rehearsal (there were only about 10 minutes left and I tried to sneak out as inconspicuously as possible....texted my director asap etc) and rush home, totally freaking out. L ended up being fine....he didn't bite through his lip, but had just scraped up the inside of his mouth really well so it was bleeding like crazy. And today he's his normal happy self....so I guess it all ends happily....even though I feel dumb for freaking out....even though I shouldn't b/c how the heck was I supposed to know what had actually happened? But whatevs. And Dayton won, woohoo!

    Hav, that's awesome!

    AW: I'm going out with some girlfriends for drinks and I'm super excited.

    vent: I have a headache that will not go away and DH may not be home in time. He might though, so I'm on the fence about calling a sitter.

    Random: I've been bumping from my bathroom for an hour. My kids have been in the tub that long and are showing no signs of wanting out. They are going to be prunes soon. Lol.

    Good luck to your Wildcats! :) Should be a good game....most likely I won't stay awake for all of it, though.....but I will for sure be watching Michigan vs. Tennessee. :)

    Random: it's 2 weeks until my baby's birthday

    Vent: I'm stressing about her birthday party. Everyone is trying to tell me that they didn't like an idea that I had. But you know it's MY baby's bday.

    AW: I've lost 15 pounds. But I'm jealous of @Hav=fath s weight loss. You go girl!

    Vent: my sister has a Mary Kay party a few weeks ago and my girlfriends talked me into a lip gloss that "looked amazing!!!". Now that it's here I'm pretty disappointed. I look like my grandmother :(

    Aw: I've been eating really well all week. Excited to weigh in on Monday

    Random: I'm still in a great mood from my girls' night last night.

    Random #2: I have a bottle of wine in the kitchen that's calling my name.

    Random: wine in my kitchen next to some awesome homemade fig newtons. Is it bedtime yet?
    Aw: dd has been sweet all day and in loving it.
    Vent: I braved the busiest place on earth today to visit some coworkers and we couldn't find each other before they had to go back to work. Total waste of time. Clearly didn't plan well enough.
    Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!

    Random: we are watching Frozen again. I am waiting for it to be over so we can turn on basketball.

    AW: DS and DD got report cards today and they both did awesome! DS got mostly E(excellent) and a couple S(satisfactory) and DD got all exceeds expectations with only 2 meets expectations.

    Vent: DD is not feeling well. She has a bad cold and had pink eye this week. She is ridiculously whiny tonight.

    I have another random to share: Elk keeps saying things that sound like bad words and DH gives me the look of death.

    Eventually we realize that it's FORK or FROG or whatever...

    Like I'm the only one in this house who drops the F bomb. Puh-leez DH.
