While sitting here waiting for the dr the office called to say his labs were in and I needed to talk to the dr. I'm trying to convince myself that that's not bad news.

Friday we get more bloodwork at the hospital. In 2 weeks we come back to the pedi to go over results. I have 3 Rx to fill for him. I have to weigh him at home. They did a urine catch.
I feel like I'm drowning. I need to go home and pray. It's all I have right now.
I'm with SSS on this one - dehydration is no joke, it can quickly get out of control. I would ask about admitting for IV fluids and speeding up the testing. I'd also consider enteral feeding.
Have they tested for milk allergy? Have you tried soy formula or elemental formula? Have they tested for metabolic disorders?
Is it possible the surgery was not successful and needs to be redone?
I would also consider getting a second opinion from another doctor at another practice or hospital. I'd hate to think that doctor(s) may be covering for their own mistakes but it could happen. If you're stuck, try calling your insurance company, they can sometimes set you up with a nurse case worker who can give you some guidance about what to do next, give you referrals, etc.
That's my 2 cents, but Mom = Boss so you need to do what you think is best.

Did the pediatrician mention anything about admitting him for the dehydration or trying to speed up the testing at all? I'm really worried about the dehydration....he's just soooooo little.
Not yet, I have to monitor him closely. As for speeding up the testing, his blood work shows he's fighting a viral infection right now. She said give him time to get well before the next blood draw. As long as he keeps peeing as much as he is then they won't admit. If he doesn't wet diapers, or stops eating I have to tak him in right away.
Does anyone know...
Is it even possible for him to have CF? Wouldn't Mirabella have it too then, since they have the same set of parents?
If you are not a carrier of the gene, which is sounds like you aren't then in theory it is not possible for baby to get it as both parents have to be carriers HOWEVER there are various mutations that can cause CF and it is not possible to test the parents for all of them. So there is a SMALL chance that could still be the issue. The only way to rule it out is to test baby.
