My understanding is that celiac testing is simple blood work? Of the options you've listed, I hope it's that! And the comment about his pyloric stenosis needing to be redone--look into this. From personal experience, I know it's possible to mess this up.
Beyond that, I really have nothing to add other than I'll be praying for Jeter.
Yes, he'll have blood work on Friday unless I can get insurance to approve a different dr seeing him first.
He's had a repeat ultrasound for his PS because that's what we all thought it was at first.
Did you try the ready to feed allimentium? I just learned that it is different then the powdered version. The ready to feed has no corn in it.
No, I haven't. I haven't even seen that in stores. The reason they took him off allimentum was because he was throwing it all up. He projectiled at the dr office so they finally got to see just how much it was.
We found it at Target last night. It's in the same purple packaging but in a big bottle. It's the liquid version of the Similac Expert Care Alimentum. Our daughter also has food allergies with projectile vomiting, hives, screaming, diarrhea, no weight gain. It's not as severe as your lo's. I just wanted to mention it, since the powder is different then the liquid. Which I think it's a little weird that they can call it the same thing when it has different ingredients.
I agree with AmyG* and others, please consider getting him admitted to a hospital as soon as possible. Don't wait until it becomes an emergent or irreversible situation.

Why does he have to wait? I would call the doctor and ask if there is anytime you can be worked in before that, even if you have to go wait at the office for an opening. Well, no, I would go to the ER if my baby looked like that and demand that they check him out!

They won't redraw blood because of his WBC being elevated. They want the virus gone first so he's stronger.
My insurance won't cover an ER visit unless 1. It's a trauma 2. The dr says to take him to the ER
He isn't currently dehydrated. He was when they drew blood on Wednesday, but not when we had our recheck on Friday.
All we know for sure right now is His liver enzymes are high, his WBC is high, and his thyroid levels are high
I'm waiting for insurance to call me back and I'm on hold with the allergist right now.
He weighed 12 lbs at home last night and he's not sleeping as much as he was. He's eating every 2 hours now instead of 3-4.
A children's hospital is best yes, they are equipped to deal with babies where most ERs are not.

Yankees0623 I am sending her an internet bitch slap! No your not dumb for taking him in, She is not a Dr just a receptionist so IGNORE her rudeness!!!!!
So far all his blood work they did at the ER is normal. They are waiting on the pedi to send over the results from last week. He is having an allergic reaction to the adhesive on his IV so they took it out after his fluids were done.
He got 100mL of fluids and now he's bright eyed and bushy tailed.
Just did a urine test and peed all over the nurse. Looking healthier (other than his arm).
Side note: his dr just called me because the pharmacy called them about his Rx they ordered Friday. Idol what is going on with that. There was one for a cream for his legs and one for Pepcid.
