  Mine were BAD on Monday at my appointment. Prop those babies up and drink some water. My husband rubbed essential oils on my feet & I had them up for a day. My swelling went back to minimal. It's less painful to be less swollen, I promise!

  So after not feeling so zen last night I have been up most of the night timing contractions. I got up to pee and had spotting and then started being able to time contractions. They are mild but regular still. Hopefully this turns into something reals!

  Looks like there is some action happening here!
  
  My tests came back positive for pre-e so I have now been at the hospital for twelve hours and had three doses of cytotec. Completely med-free is now off the table but hopefully I can forego pain meds.

  @saisongbird‌ - I have had swelling for a long time. Feet up above the heart and a gentle foot massage from the hubby would help.

  Had my checkup today.  Not a lot going on to think labor is going to happen anytime soon.  We DID talk about an eviction date - April 9!  So now at least an end date is in sight.  The doctor thinks I will "probably" go into labor before that but you never know.  The 9th puts me right around where I was when DD's water broke so hopefully this one doesn't want to cook longer than that!

  
  

  Also, since my weight was down from last week (I think I was just wearing heavier clothes last week), I'm taking that as a sign that is okay to enjoy a chocolate donut right now.  Mmmmmmm...

  Just wanted to update that I did end up going in last night. Was at one cm but vomiting and extremely uncomfortable so they kept me. 12 hours later finally made it to 3 cm and was so exhausted and uncomfortable that I opted for the epi. Now I'm 6 and trying to zen. But I'm nervous about the intervention cascade, hoping for vaginal birth still. Good luck and zen to everyone!

  Good luck!  Don't worry about the cascade of interventions, if your body needs it your body needs it.  Focus on getting that cutie out and healthy!

  Baby's movements are way down so we're going in tomorrow morning to try an induction. Doctor is not overly optimistic as it seems my body is in no way ready to have this baby, but we'll give it a go and hopefully it works! Either way I should have my little lady for Mother's Day on Sunday!!!

  I am sad to say that I thought it was the day when I woke up with intense contractions at 4am and had pink/brown discharge. Things slowed down around 6am and now have stopped. I am weirdly emotional that today is our latest due date (depending on different scans we have been told 3/22, 3/25, and 3/28) and I still have an inside baby.   In l&d now. Yesterday I was .5cm really high. Went in today at 3pm was 4-5cm now at 6-7. It can happen very quickly ladies. Keep the faith.

  This gives me hope! Thank you! Was due on Monday 3/24 and they were trying to push me for induction on Monday but I really want the chance to do it when my body and baby is ready. They will "let" me wait until Wednesday or so. I did acupuncture today and yesterday and am doing everything else I can think of to spark things.....good luck ladies, we are in the home stretch!

  I'm in so much discomfort today. I feel like i was that punched and every time I stand up it's a new fresh hell. So excited for all you MOOBS and laboring ladies. Good luck!! I will not hate on you during my misery (I say nothing of my jealousy though...)

  I feel like my bump has been rock hard all day.  It's so freaking painful and I can't move around.  I've had three contractions all day that I can tell are contractions.  Everything else just feels like really really severe BH.  My zen is disappearing...

  @saisongbird‌ boo! I know how that is! I'm in the same boat!
  
  I'm also getting really bummed about my blood pressure. I've been making changes all week to try to lower it. No more sodium, more water, more fruits & veggies, more dairy, keeping my feet up. I've been having my mom monitor my BP at home this week. It was 130/85 at my appointment on Monday, went to 120/94 on Tuesday, stayed the same Wednesday, and then this morning it was 147/95.
  
  I am really afraid my doctor will want to induce on Monday. I'm going to suggest getting monitored frequently and holding off on induction and seeing if that's something he'd be willing to work with.
  
  I'm ALSO worried that my mom will he upset with me if I agree to an induction on Monday. She's a licensed midwife, but is not my primary care provider. So she thinks she knows best--but I trust my doctor.
  
  I'm mainly just venting. Sooorry. Just getting worried & frustrated.

  I had a pretty zen day. Brunch, movie, nails, and shopping with some girlfriends. I finally bought a crib and monitor for the baby and the cloth diapers I ordered finally came in too. She's really running out of reasons to stay inside. I just KNOW she's waiting for April Fool's Day *sniff* I had so hoped to not have to go to work on Monday but with only a handful of contractions today, I don't think we're making any progress. I'm pretty sure I deserve this pizza.

  Congrats to @Anneplusone‌ and @kkcravens‌ on outside babies. I am joining you all as little Rory was born in a completely unexpected way on 3/28. Happy to say that he is perfect at 7 lbs 14 oz and 21 inches after my doula attended med free birth turned into a pre-e diagnosis into induction, into distressed baby requiring c-section birth!

  Today is my due date per growth scan (vs 3/28 which is what my ticker is/when I thought I was due).  Heading off to prenatal yoga to hope that gets something started!  Because otherwise we have got a big ol' NOTHING going on over here...

  
  

  I've put into my head that baby is coming NEXT weekend so that is keeping me zen.  (Though I do lose my zen a little bit when I think it could be anytime now really....have I mentioned that I kind of have things I'd like to get done before this one comes?  Oooops.  Cutting it close....)

  This! This so bad it hurts! Jk. The only thing that hurts are my swollen feet. I think I woke up to a contraction...2 hours ago that turned into nothing.

  I had one contraction overnight.  Boo.  Just got up, DH is still asleep - and the feet are so swollen that walking from the bedroom to downstairs put me in pain.

  Hi zen ladies! I think I started posting here but didn't actually post. Our little girl Natalie was born vaginally after 26 hours of labor on 3/28 at 9:21 pm. It has been kind of a whirlwind adjustment! I'm a little emotional with worry and lack of sleep. But so in love! I'll post a birth story with pic when im not mobile.
