I, personally, think it's gross, can smell if not taken care of and can create feminine issues (obviously not on the male, but any female he is with) if not peeled back and cleaned correctly.

I also know males that they're foreskin was not "cut" off at birth. And they are pissed at their parents. So I have chosen to have my sons circumcised. You all like to take things waaaay out of context. I am extremely content with my decision and was voicing (typing) my opinion in a public forum from a poster who asked for people's opinions. Only once I was attacked by voicing my opinion did I use analogies to better explain and you all decided to attack those as well. Really, I don't care your opinion nor the "70%" (which is not correct btw) of men that feel upset that I am for circumcising my sons purely for the aesthetic reasons. Have a great night. I'm sure you all will find someone else to be posses at in a week and all hang up on that person. Enjoy your sloths, foreskins and tacos.

Usually ignorant people don't know they are ignorant. The ones spewing the offensive garbage don't usually find it offensive. Hence why they find it acceptable to spew said filth. Putting flesh-eating bacteria in the same paragraph as an uncircumcised penis is inflammatory. You would have to be acting deliberately obtuse not to realize that or acting like a huge asshole.

You do realize that most of the rest of the world doesn't perform routine circumcision, right? So, 70% of the male population, worldwide, is uncircumcised. Also, as PPs have said, apparently you DO care about our opinion. Otherwise, you wouldn't be so defensive and continuing to respond.

Also, as far as my God comment, it was not at all in reference to you or your opinions. In fact, I don't really believe in God and hate it when people use their religion as a cover for doing/believing shitty things (not that I think circumcision is shitty...to each their own on that front).

And btw, in the US, about 60% of males are still circumcised annually. I doubt that's all due to medically necessary reasons. I don't care about world wide as many countries are more concerned with food for their family over the way their sons penis looks, or have their children outside hospitals.

@argonne‌ That's a valid point. But I do have other reasons besides religion for wanting to do it. I'm glad you clarified in your later comment that you don't consider circumcision as a shitty thing to use religion as an excuse for. I also hate it when people use religion to try and justify being horrible people. But I definitely think that if you're really committed to any religion, it's going to affect the decisions you make in your life. As long as those decisions don't negatively affect other people! By posting on the loss board with an avatar that is showing off a pregnancy, no matter how sincere your condolences are they will come across to some as the above. I don't think it's a hard thing to figure out, and I've been lucky enough to never experience a loss.

I have to laugh that you think every poster here is jumping on a bandwagon (or being a "sheep" if you prefer) and flaming you just because everyone else is. Yeah, nope. Pretty sure we all were capable of deciding for ourselves that you were saying shitty things and acting like a royal brat.

I'm a new face around here too, and I've never been flamed... It was also my 2nd or 3rd day on this site and it was appropriate to the post to mention my child's agewho is the same age of the child she was referring to. Not to mention I didn't have that picture uploaded at the time I posted. MY OPINION. Idgaf if you agree or think that's offensive. You have all, mod included, said extremely offensive things to me in regards to my opinion.
