My husband and I had our first DD in April of last year. We have been TTC for the last 10 months. At then end of February I had my first pp period. It ended on the 24th. The last couple weeks I've been having pregnancy symptoms. Nausea, moodiness, dizzy spells, ... I took a HPT last week and got a BFN but was sure I tested a week too early. Sunday while at church I felt a big gush down there and when I went to the bathroom I was bleeding. Bright red with some clotting. It didn't last long. Less than an hr. Monday I had some light brown/pink spotting. I called my OB and they said to retest and if I started bleeding more and cramping to go to ER. I retested this morning and also.got a BFN. at 11 today I felt another big gush and when I went to the bathroom I was bleeding again. Bright red a couple very small clots. I've been cramping on and off since Sunday and feeling pretty crappy altogether. My lower back has been hurting today as well. I'm not sure what to do. Should I go to the ER? Wait? I'm so confused:( I just want to know what's going on. i know its not my period but i dont really want to let ny mind go to the other place:(

No one here is a dr. If your dr advised you to go to the ER you probably shouldn't be hanging out here and should be taking your dr's advice.
As an EMT, I am telling you to go to your doctor!!!!
I'd be hauling your ass in if I got a call to your house and you explained that to me.
How do you know? It sounds a lot like a period to me.

I was looking for help not rude, cynical comments. And no its NOT my period. It ended on Febraury 24. It last 5 days. Sunday I bled for 1 hr. Wednesday I bled for 1 hr. That's it. In no way does that sound like a period.

I didn't get cleared for sex until 7 weeks PP, and told me DH it was 4 weeks longer.

It's your period. Take a Midol & calm the fuck down.
Don't bother the ER unless you are bleeding through more than an overnight pad an hour or in extreme pain.

2) Testing a week early would mean you were testing at approx. 7 DPO (assuming a 14ish day luteal phase). It takes 7-10 days for the embryo to even implant. So, 'symptoms' you felt before then were not pregnancy.
3) So, you started your period heavy Sunday, had a light day yesterday and it got heavy again today. Periods change. All sorts of things can make them change, and I'd imagine PP periods are even more changeable. Again, BFN, not pregnant at this time. This is more than likely your period. Even the dates somewhat match up (last period finished on 2/24, new one starts 3/24, that doesn't sound too off).
4) Sounds like period symptoms to me. I get a really sort lower back during mine. Perhaps try a heating pad and some Advil?
5) No. Not for this.
6) I'm pretty sure it is. If you're bleeding through more than a pad an hour at any point, then I would go to the hospital. Otherwise, I vote wonky period.
This, ladies and gents, is why already having had a child doesn't necessarily mean that you know all about TTC or how your body works.

Hysteroscopy/Lap--8/4/14 - Tubes unblocked. Polyps removed from uterine wall. Septum removed.
9/30/14--Off the bench! Unmedicated TI through December 2014
BFP 12/14/14!!! Beta #1, 12/16: 990 Beta #2, 12/18: Over 2000! Beta #3, 12/22: over 8000!
U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015
U/S #3, 1/9: BPM in the 180s, IT'S HAPPENING!!!
