I took LO to the pedi yesterday for a rash on her face and to talk about her spitting up. I hate this doctor. She claims LO spits up because, based on her weight gain, she's eating too much. WTF, lady. I've told her time and again that my kids grow quickly. Hell-o, their mama is 6' tall! They won't be puny forever! Plus, she's slowed significantly since the last weight check. And she's grown a lot -- about 2" since birth!

She claims the rash is baby acne, which I'm not sure I believe. Thing is, it spread like a rash, from one cheek to the other and then to her ears, neck, forehead, scalp, and chest. I'm no doctor, but since I already don't really trust her based on the weight comments, I'm inclined to not believe her on this one, either.

I guess it's time to find someone new. I miss our old pedi. I hate that he doesn't take our new insurance.

Good luck! I hear you about the porn star size girls. Mine went up 4 sizes and I have to special order bras. I also have mastitis and cracked nipples so I've been trying to not wear a bra and get air on them. MH finds this hilarious as I walk around holding them up.

I LOVE my breasts right now. They're so big and jubbly. I would feel smoking hot if I could get my love handles under control...

I've been saying to my friends that I hope I get into top top shape by the summer so I can go to the beach with actual boobs this year!! I've always been small so it'll be a nice change of pace haha

@Laura8388‌ how did you stop pumping?? Was there a method to keep engorgement at bay? My H and I are trying to come up with a plan since BFing has been really difficult. I'm not sure that (mentally or physically) I can keep it up.

@bunnyfungo I'm sorry you had such a rough night. I have definitely already had a meltdown on mh as soon as he woke up too. And it's terrible that he has to be gone right when you start back to work. I can't even imagine. I hope your babies cooperate better tonight for you!

So my brother is running in the Boston Marathon this April.... currently with an inside baby... LO will be less than 4 weeks old. I'm already hesitant about our first grocery store trip... Am I nuts for wanting to see my brother cross the finish line with LO and DH?? From what I researched I can still bring a stroller and diaper bag etc... I just need to plan for extra security... But I feel like I'm going to be that annoying person with a shit ton of stuff meandering the busy streets of Boston...

Cool memories though... Right??

With ds2 I froze the cabbage leaves and than used them. Omg felt so friggen good, however smelled HORRIBLE!!! It seemed to work pretty quickly too I didn't wean LO quit cold turkey at 9 months. I was in so much pain I didn't care about the smell!

@kirotea‌ that's good that it wasn't thrush! BUT that stinks that the LCs didn't really help from the get go. I use nipple shields too but my nips still bleed. Are you going to try and keep going? The couple of times I've put Emma to breast the past couple of days I tried football hold instead of the cross body. I read that if you swap the positioning it can help relieve where the damage occurs or relieve damage already done. It helped me a little. I just feel so torn about what to do.

MH got really excited when I had to go to L&D for monitoring this morning, and told his mother about it while he was on his way to his night shift. Of course, she then called me to ask how it went, and ask very bluntly about The State of the Cervix.

I asked her just as bluntly why the hell she needed to know anything about my vagina. Her response: "Well, [MH's first cousin] and all my other nieces told me when they were dilated! Why won't you?"

Because you don't need to know! When I'm in active labor, MH is the one in charge of calling all the grandparents, so cool your damn tits, woman! It's not like I'm going to keep it a secret when I have this baby! I want her out more than alllllll of you do, I PROMISE.

I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm a brat now. 33 year age difference and all that.

@tallash you have my utmost respect for raising three girls. I kept telling my H before we knew we were having a boy that if we had two girls in a row we were done even though we always wanted three kids. I don't think I could handle that much estrogen under one roof.
