Do Your Rings Still Fit?

2»

Re: Do Your Rings Still Fit?

  • I had to take them off last week because they started getting tight by the end of the day. My hands usually swell in warmer weather anyway, so I don't want to risk it. I'm wearing a fake ring/band set that's a size bigger.

  • My rings still fit like they always have, so I'll wear them as long as I can.  I'm used to hot weather, so my hands typically never swell unless I'm exercising, so as long as I stay hydrated, hopefully I won't have to worry about it.
  • They're still fitting but there are some days where I can tell they're tighter.   Last time, I had to take them off around 22 weeks, so this is progress...............

Haven't taken mine off, but read recently that I should! I have a friend who had to have hers cut off, which I sure don't want.  So far they aren't tight, but I'm wondering if I should take a better-safe-than-sorry approach. I wanted to wear them for my maternity shoot & baby showers.
I never thought about buying a fake!  You ladies are so clever.

Edit: 28 weeks today, so maybe I'll start wiggling them from this point forward, at least!

  • I wear three (wedding, e-ring, and anniv) and they're ok as of now. But I foresee only being able to wear my wedding band toward the end and will wear my cheap silver stand-in if that does happen. I just feel naked without them...whenever I send them off for dipping/maintenance, I always wear a stand-in until they get back.

  • 29 weeks so far so good lol.
  • Mine never stopped fitting in previous pregnancies.  Will see if things are any different this time since I'll be ending pregnancy in warmer weather than before.
  • I voted second tri, but I'm kind of a SS. My engagement ring with the stone still fits fine, I probably wont need to take it off at all. My wedding band was getting tight though so I took it off in second trimester.

  • I had to take mine off about a week ago, but lucky for me my hubby got me what I call my pregnancy wedding band when he was deployed during my first pregnancy so I wear that one for now.
