GTKY: Where have you taken this baby?

I remember my Mom telling me when I was growing up that she had to sing in a wedding in San Diego when she was pregnant with me. As a kid from Iowa who had never been on a plane, I thought the fact that I had "been to California" was the coolest thing. (Not much excitement in my life, huh?

)

Do you have any fun places you have been while pregnant or any unique experiences you have had (concerts, new things you've tried, etc.) that you will share with your child some day?

I'm going to be my bff's maid of honor at 36 weeks pregnant(shoot me), so that's something! We've got plans to take DS to the zoo and beach before baby arrives too. We're boring lol

TMI, but this baby was conceived on our honeymoon, so she got to go to France, Italy, and Austria already. I didn't leave the U.S. until I was 20, so I am jealous of her

We have visited DH's family in Canada and have been a bunch of places in the US: San Francisco, Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, etc. We plan on visiting South Carolina before the baby gets here as well.

It has been really fun taking belly pics at various landmarks around the country so I can show her someday. I am in San Francisco for a work conference right now and had fun hanging out with the baby as I explored the city. It's kind of neat how we are never "alone" now.

Hmmm, well for work I've traveled all over PA, New Jersey and parts of New York. In may, my last wedding for a while will be in Kissimmee, FL (they want a Disney themed wedding but can't afford to do it in Disney so they're doing it near Disney lol it's cute).

In December, we did a family trip to longwood gardens so baby's been there. And I'm determined to have a beach day before baby comes so crossed fingers for that! Aside from that, we've done museums and other cute little family philly trips.

So far this baby has accompanied me on my birthday weekend in Manhattan to see Wicked, to spend Christmas in London for a week, New Year's in Ireland for a week, a week in the Bahamas last month, and a week in China this month including hiking on the Great Wall.

Much like mommy and the rest if the family, this baby gets around!

Before I even knew I was pregnant, little girl went to the beach with me! I came home on a Sunday and found out the following Thursday that we're expecting. So hopefully we started her off right - a little beach bum like her momma!

@LiteraChick, DH is always joking about wanting to find an au pair with whom to trade travel for babysitting while doing said travel LOL! Except for Manhattan and China, all trips included my 14 year old stepson and 3.5 year old son.

We're taking our sort of babymoon/weekend get away in April to a nearby city to stay the night. There's a lot of history there so she may get a few tours & etc under her belt. She's also been to Nashville, Tn when my mom & I went very shortly after I found out I was pregnant. Nashville is always fun times!

Our LO went with us on our honeymoon! We were married in October, pregnant almost immediately, and went to Argentina and Brazil over Christmas. Baby girl also went to Justin Timberlake and Kings of Leon a few weeks ago. Hopefully her life will be as fun and exciting once she breaks out

That sounds awesome! October is a wonderful time of year usually for this area. I'm about 2 hrs from Nashville. You may also want to consider Franklin, Tn which is about 10 miles outside of Nashville if you have time.

This baby had already been to Portland, OR twice, Las Vegas, and Chicago several times...before she's born she'll go to Monterey, CA twice, Seattle, WA/Olympic National Park, Lake Powell (Glenn Canyon National Recreation Area), Washington, DC and Denali National Park in Alaska...Maybe St. Louis if our client requests a meeting. All for mommy's job, but fitting all that in by June will be some trick!

So far this little one has been to Portland, OR, NYC, NC, Florida to SeaWorld and Universal studios as well as Marco Island in Florida. We are going to Manhatten again in a week, the beach next month, the mountains in NC for Memorial weekend, and Rhode Island for a wedding in June. We are also going to see broadway "The Lion King" for July 4th. I've been to loads of museums, the Lincoln Memorial, reflecting pool and the Monument in DC that little dude has been apart of. We are also going to Mexico in October and taking our little man and he obviously will be born then

Oh! Duh! Lol I'm going to Atlantic city next month for my b-day. There's a restaurant there with the most amazing chocolate desserts. Baby max and I are gonna get chocolate wasted!

This baby has road tripped from GA to Texas already and will road trip to Nashville, IN, Chicago, and a couple stops in MI in a few weeks. DS went to Costa Rica and went zip-lining with me. I was like a minute pregnant though. I'd gotten a BFN before the trip but it turned out to just be too early to test :P

She's been to 2 Jets games (though I didn't know at the first one), assisted me being a bridesmaid at my best friends wedding (who was pregnant at my wedding), been to a NY Rangers game, was there for the first holiday we ever hosted in our house, will go to at least a few Yankees games, visit her aunt in MD for MDW, and a few trips to Manhattan including an upcoming trip to the Museum of Natural History with DSD.

Jealous of all the travelling moms out there!

She was conceived in Italy (where we live). She's been to Venice during Carnevale and last week we went to Garmisch Germany and drove through Austria. She's also been to WI.

We went to Colorado last weekend. Went to the Pixies concert about a month ago and are going to the Straits tomorrow. DS was conceived in either India or Nepal, lucky little guy. This one's story isn't nearly as interesting except that I had a broken foot at the time and still managed to make it happen

This LO has been to Seattle during fall break. He or she has also been back east when we went to visit family for the holidays which included Erie, PA and Syracuse, NY. We'll be heading to a wedding in May so LO will add DC and Williamsburg, VA to the list. And I think we'll try to hit up one of Utah's parks at the end of the semester (so early May) since it'll be harder to do with a newborn and DD. This LO has definitely traveled more in utero than DD, but we moved across the country when DD was about 6 weeks old so now if we want to see friends and family we have to do some traveling.

Well, next week he will attend Emerald City ComicCon in Seattle, where he will be part of some fun costumes. Other than that, several big ten football games, he may have been to Boston for a wedding (that was riiiight about when he came to be so we aren't sure). We might be going to northern michigan (UP and mackinac island) on the annual family 4th of July trip if I'm feeling up to it but its early to say on that one. That's it!

This baby has already been more places in utero than I had been prior to graduating college!

She was conceived in San Diego on a regular Saturday morning (nothing to exciting there!), but since then she has been to Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Nevada (we took our unborn baby to Vegas like every classy parent should ;-)), and she's touched down in Arizona and Illinois (airports only). I'm also going to Oregon/Washington in a few weeks and then Hawaii a few weeks after that.

DH and I have a pin map of the US that has different colored pins for where we lived when we met, where we went on our first date, places we've been together, and airports we've been to together. I'm trying to get him on board with a pin map for LO with one color representing places she traveled before she was born. :-)

Um you ladies are awesome. All I've got is we are going to Florida in 3 weeks woot woot! Also plan to camp this summer if it's not to incredibly uncomfortable at 8 months pregnant.
