@Jt7dreamz, you gave them to me instead! Nothing all day, then hourlyish contractions all night (would wake me up enough to think, "huh, I think that's a contraction" lasted a minute or so and then I'd fall back asleep) and now......nothing.

Maybe I'm giving them back to you??
Hey, quit leaving me out of this! They went away last night and now nothing. I slept so well last night that when I was turning over last night I couldn't tell if it was just pressure or contractions. Hoping SOMETHING picks up today!
RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me. You made my wedding day complete.
@FarmBoysWife T&Ps for your FIL. We went thru that with my dad last year. It was scary but ended up being such a quick fix with stints, modern procedures are impressive. I hope they can easily fix him up if there is a block.
Every night without fail I wake up flat on my back ... and it's SOOO comfortable... which is bizarre considering the size of my belly right now. But then my irrational fear that sleeping flat on my back will suffocate my baby kicks in and I flip to my side which killllllllllssss my hips.
The thought of being able to sleep in so many more positions once this baby is born is unreal lol
My original plan for maternity leave was to be done by the mid-end of February. My boss kind of ignored that plan and we had two shoots the first week of March. Nbd, it was nice to keep busy. At our last shoot I told him that he could still send me some admin work to do, because the distraction was nice but that I needed to be done by last week. Mostly just so I can relax and mentally prepare for this baby, and not feel like I have deadlines to meet that will stress me out. I've worked 30 hours in the last 4 days. And he wants to have a video conference today to plan some shoots. I'm due Wednesday. So much for time to relax and prepare. He also said that he wants me to email him when my doctor tells me what day I'll be induced so he can stop sending me work. I don't think he gets how this works... Anyway. I'll have the video conference, but I'm telling him that I'm done today and to leave me alone until after mat leave.
At least he didn't ask you to email him when your cervix is a certain measurement? hehe
@IdyllicPursuit went in for her biophysical today, and they wanted to send her straight to L&D because she was at 8cm! She refused, since she's going for a home/water birth, and drove herself home. We'll get to see pictures of her Team Blue outside squishie baby soon!!!!!!!
I wish I knew what a fucking contraction felt like 40&5. Whooosaw......
How long will the doc let you go?
Im seeing midwives and there isn't any medically necessary reason for me to get induced and I wouldn't volunteer to be induced anyway. So just have to tough it out till little guy tells me he's ready! But I think *if* I hit 42 weeks and I hope I dont lol then they will send me for tests and what not. But I've had a unicorn pregnancy, not one single issue other then the back pain etc. So they are comfortable with they way things are going right now. Im just huge and miserable

And apparently I need permission from mh to take a shower now. I just finished feeding J and announced I was gonna take a shower and he asked why I always wait to take a shower until his show is on. Which clearly isn't true since his show is on once a week. I mean I've only held the baby all day while he's been fussing his face off.
Once you started having contractions (you know the real deal, not just teasing you kind)...what did you do until you left for hospital/birthing center? Meaning, did you go back to bed? Did you chill out on the couch? Did you walk around constantly?
I took a shower, put on makeup, flat ironed my hair, ate a bunch of chocolate, and did a load of laundry. We didn't leave for the hospital until about 1.5-2 hours after my water broke.
DH is driving me crazy. He wants this kid out now. He even came home from the grocery store with a whole pineapple because I told him that bromelains are chemically similar to prostaglandins.
Meanwhile, LO passed his NST today and the doctor's happy to let him cook a little while longer.
