Just got back from another ultrasound and my amnio. Baby is looking good so far!! I don't really want to start another thread, but just wanted to say thanks for the thoughts and prayers from when I posted forever ago. The results should be back in 3 days so fingers crossed baby doesn't have CMV!

Aha, yes this is part of what I was following last night. What a peach! The other thread seems to have been deleted, but was a continuation of how Eulbear (whatvers) was going to join BMAug14 rather than stay with BMSept14 because those ladies were rude to her. Then she kept saying she was just going to create a new account bc she knows about refreshing IPs. She's lovely and will probably be back, fun times.

Welp, I just completely lost my shit. Lemme break it down for you:

1) The investment company looking at our house basically gave us a big giant eff you to our counter and said their first offer was their only offer.

2) So now we have to rip up all of our carpet since all the feed back from our showings say it smells like dog. To be fair it does smell a little doggy since we have four, but our dogs do not pee or poo in the house so it's just dog smell. It makes me feel like a shitty house keeper.

3) I feel like my whole life is up in the air right now.

4) My OB called me back and informed me if I have any more BH contractions that close together that I am to immediately head to L&D, where they will pump me full of a bag and a half of fluids, discover that isn't working then give me terb shots. They won't skip the fluids no matter how many times I tell them it doesn't work like that for me, they won't skip straight to the terb shots.

5) My husband is leaving for Costa Rica for a week on the 23rd.

6) Everyone in my life keeps telling me to stop with the stress, but it's not something I can control.

7) We have to ship DD off to my parents for a day this weekend again so that we can stage the house all pretty for next week's showings. This makes me feel like a terrible mother, but it's better for her to be with my mom than watching Dora all day while we work.

8) I can't have wine. I want wine. Since I can't have wine, y'all get whine.

I feel like a whiny SS, but after DH gets back from Costa Rica and the whole house is staged we are moving in with my parents so that I can avoid that stress and avoid PTL this time around.

@SarahVol131‌ - have you checked on the Makena shots? If you delivered DD early, then you should qualify for them. They have been a life saver for me and baby girl, literally! I started having contractions and was thinning out at 15wks. I started the shots just a few days later and have already thickened back out. I have only had a few instances where I had contractions, only when I was due for another shot and overdid the day before.

I haven't asked my OB about anything this time around. I had a a ton of PTL with DD that literally stopped as soon as I hit 37 weeks (we were told 37 weeks was a long shot) and I delivered at 39w6d. I know last time there was a pill. I think I am going to speak with her about it at my appt on Monday.

We have been saying we were going to build a garage at our house for years. We keep putting it off and there is never going to be a good time to do it, so I am on a mission to just get it done. DH really wanted to do it himself, but I feel like the time for that has passed, especially since he travels for work so much.

I am really interested in these Amish built garages that are built to specifications off site and then assembled on-site in 2-3 days. Talk about instant gratification. Now to get DH on board...

I'm really bad about remembering to love tit anything. I'll start scrolling through admiring everyone's bumps, then get so someone's siggy I actually recognize and for some reason that reminds me to love tit their post, but I realize I've skipped over several and I'm too lazy to go back...Lame excuse, but it's actually happened twice today for me that I actually think about it after the fact.

This sounds delightful. I have been resisting the McD's breakfast. It was putting a huge dent in our eating out budget, haha. I really loved the hash browns and have found a decent alternative from Trader Joes. They have the hash brown patties. Just pop into the oven and eat. Can't beat 8 for $2!

I'm not gonna lie, me too. I will say that sometimes I find that I accidentally un-love-it a post that I had previously loved, so I just try to do a page at a time now. That said, I haven't even touched the HDBD thread today.

Ah! I totally judge my life's worth on the number of love tits I get each week. The trick is to be really memorable, witty, adorable, professional or a hot mess. I normally fall into the last category so it's really hit or miss.

There is a dead rodent in the wall near my desk. Because there is a small section of wall taken out for the security camera wires that go to a monitor at my desk i get the worst of the smell. I have a candle going on my desk and my coworker tried to stuff lysol wipes in the excess space of the hole, but i'm still getting a headache and feel ill from it.

The best part is that the property manager was like i will send some one to try to patch up as much of the hole as possible but other then that you just have to deal. She says that it probably ate poison and that most of them have a drying agent and the smell should go away sometime soonish.

Ug. This damn office is nothing but problems.

Honestly it's just the carpet in the master where the dogs sleep. They are fine in DD's room and the guest room. And they've been steamed cleaned 4 times to no avail. Le sigh. I just feel shitty like I am a bad house keeper, but I promise I'm not and my dogs get baths regularly.

That sucks. Maybe if you get a warm day opening the windows will help get rid of the smell. I'm sure it is only there because it's been a long long winter and your house has been all closed up.
