Our dog is sick

we were up several times throughout the night, with DH having to let him out. He's been having diarrhea since we went to bed last night. Thoughts on how to make him feel better? I'm so worried because we'll both be at work all day (DH can come home at lunch for an hour) and he's been asking to go out about hourly

Can you take him to the vet in the morning? Our vet will keep the pet during the day for observation and tests if you have to go to work.

I'm about to leave for work now so I won't be able to. DH still has another hour at home, so I think he'll see how he's doing and he can take him in if needed. My main concern is that he'll become dehydrated!

Update - the pooch is better

My principal is wonderfully sweet and let me run home to check on him while my kids were in Spanish. He was napping but happy to see me and seems to be okay now!

You can give him immodium, but I'd get him to a vet if it lasts more than a day.

A friend of mine just announced on FB at 5 weeks. I was surprised they announced so early, but to each her own. I still haven't announced on FB and they didn't know yet that we were expecting so I felt like it was time to tell them. It seemed weird telling them that we were due in July when they had already told us they were due in October.

I've had five braxton hicks contractions in the last hour. I just called to talk to my OB I swear I will burst into tears if they send my to L&D. I really didn't want to call, but since I have a history of pre-term labor with DD I have to.

Of course, all I care about is this baby being healthy and full term, but seriously: ALL THE F BOMBS!!!

Yesterday as i was going to the bathroom i was thinking about how difficult it was to do things with "the belly," even the simplest things. Then i realized it going to be a lot worse in like 3 or so months. Then i had a freak out about OMG 3 MONTHS?!?!?!?

Then i realized i just spent 10 min in the work bathroom just to pee.

Thank you! If anything they'll haul my butt in, pump me full of fluids, then give me a terb shot in both arms. I am hoping they'll tell me to watch and wait.

@aliletz I have a cousin whose wife has set up a separate facebook account for all four of her children. The oldest is five. The youngest is 9ish months old. When we visited they wanted to know why DD didn't have a facebook. Umm, because she's 2.5? Did you need another reason?

Watch and wait it is! Woo hoo! Drink lots of water, put my feet up and avoid stress. At least I can comply with the water thing! Thanks for the well wishes y'all, those terb shots are not fun. Plus, after every BH the baby goes nuts so it's kind of fun to feel that!
