Holla, mamas! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend despite DST being vile and totally wrecking Sundays... well, at least some of them
Any funny stories this week? Milestones? Challenges? Other stuff?
If you could eat just one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Re: ~*~ Toddler Check-in ~*~
Not much new here. Still working slowly on potty training. And cursing the devil that is the time change.
I would definitely choose pasta for my one meal forever choice. With homemade sauce and plenty of parmesan cheese grated on top. Yum!

Motherhood is not for wimps
I feel like I say this every week, but I think we are making more progress on weaning. The past two nights I've given DD yogurt as a bedtime snack and she hasn't asked to nurse when I put her to bed. She's just been content snuggling with a bedtime story. I'm not counting it as a win yet, but I'm hoping if I can keep this going for a couple more days we can drop the bedtime nursing for good.
QOTW: I would probably go with a pasta dish with lots of veggies, some shrimp or chicken, and a really good rosa sauce. Everything I like in one dish so I would never get bored.

This time I'm not leaving without you.
DS has been a piece of work these last few weeks and I'm getting close to losing it somedays. I just feel completley overwhelmed! Sorry to be a downer!
As for milestones: he's finally talking some more! He has learnt about 5 new words in the last week so that's fun!
Funny Stories: He walks around to people, puts his finger over his lips and says "shhh" over and over. I make him laugh and laugh and then all of a sudden he looks at me all serious and says "no more". It's cute.
Challenges: where do I start? Balancing work and being a mom and a wife. Sleep. Always sleep. He wakes up and screamed on and off for an hour about every other night. It's exhausting.
If I could eat one meal forever it would be chicken fajitas! They're my favourite! Or wings!

Other than that DS has been doing really well. We got one of those Chef Boyardee pizzas for him to make and put oatmeal in finger paint for his sensory issues. On a really neat note he can count to 12 and said circle & octagon while watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...so he's getting it. He still won't hardly wear shoes so it crazy
Funny story...he's been playing in our cars and honking the horns and opening the doors. Our neighbors must be thrilled.
If I could eat one meal forever I think I'd do tamales with hot sauce.
No major challenges other than not really interested in taking in more than a teaspoon of water from her sippy. Milestones...hmm, does being outdoors count?
Food...I love food and tend to obsess on eating a particular thing until I get sick of it or find something else addicting to nosh on. Right now, I discovered Pretzel Crisps. I could eat those all day. That and chocolate.
