Good morning!! So now that it seems that all of the Facebook issues were settled and I feel that I am not a newb or creepy lurker I would love to join the FB group! If the FB ladies are not against me joining could I get the info on how to join? Thanks!

**Update** The administrators of the Facebook group are @kshampeny, @gertiebarden, @pistolpackinmomma, and @rachelCA29. To request admission, please send a PM to ONE** of the administrators. The PM should include the following: - Your Facebook Name - Your Location (or other identifying information to help us separate your FB account from anyone else who has the same name). The administrator will submit a friend request in order to grant you membership. You need to accept the friend request in order to be added to the group. As soon as you are added, the administrator will unfriend you, for mutual privacy. **Understanding that the administrators may not always be available, if your request does not receive a response in a timely fashion, you can resubmit to another administrator. However, please follow up your first note to the admins informing them you have done so, so we're not duplicating effort.

I was hoping I'd get Fb admission too, but I don't think it's happening. Maybe I'm wrong and some of us non-newbies can get added, but I thought we were out of luck if we weren't in already. I'm bummed b/c Fb is easier for me personally b/c of the notifications. And, after DD was born 2 years ago, our Fb group (offshoot of MBM) was a huge source of support for me!

You could always ask to join the "totes private" "other/2nd/new fb" group. @KivaKira doesn't post anymore because we flamed her to high heaven, but she lurks and might let you in.

Facebook news feeds are so full enough with everyone's game requests, photos, memes, rants, political pictures, videos, and all those damn advertisements. I already can't keep up with it all, to add more to it would do no good.

@Redinlove You can turn off/block facebook games, just FYI. I can try to describe how to do that if you'd like. I figured out how to do that once I decided I don't like games like Farmville anymore, and now any time a friend or family member starts posting requests for game-related whatever, I block the game so I don't have to see all the notices.

@sisterjanet, I do try to when I see a lot of a new game pop up, but I think I was blocking them basically one game at a time? So when new ones come out, sometimes I see them. I will take a look to see if I can do a more blanketed blocking all at once.

@RedInLove, I don't know how to block more than one game at a time, just clicking each game and blocking it on the game page. (I don't have a whole lot of facebook friends, so that method is enough for me to keep the requests out of my feed.)

You do realize that 2 of those stories the kidnapper knew the families, right? And just like not everyone in this world has good intentions, not everyone had bad intentions as well. I have met some very awesome people through a board on the nest. I'm not saying to trust everyone but you also have to leave your house at some point. People get mugged, kidnapped, killed, attacked, or whatever else all of the time by going about their day to say things or even going on vacation. It's possible to be in a FB group and not have your baby stollen.

Awwww, I remember lines like that. In Dec '10 all them bishes would say things like, "don't let FB kill our board, let's all be on the bump forever" "Dec '10 forever", etc.

Suffice to say, it is dead. I didn't join their FB group. I just got pregnant and got a new BMB

I had wanted to join e first fb group but missed the cut. I love coming on TB but don't get on every day, I have a hard time mobile bumping on my phone, but fb I am on all the time. So if there was one I could join I would, but I would not stop coming here either. I am hoping we stay active after our babies are born!
