Re: FFFC

  • DH has been gone for a week and comes home tonight. This week the kids have been a handful and not sleeping well, he missed my bday (forgot to even call all day until 9pm and then woke up DD when he did call...) and DS's bday, and I want some alone time. I am so guilting him into cleaning the house for me while I sit on my a** and do nothing, take a quiet bath or perhaps sleep... Sorrynotsorry! Welcome home honey!

  • I think of every time as one word and consciously have to stop myself for writing it as such. I guess my brains logic is because everything, everyone and everybody are written like that it should be too.

  • @northport6 I felt the same way about 2 month shots.  Since everyone said it was so bad, I told my husband he would have to go with us and hold her down because I wasn't going to be able to.  Turns out, she was totally fine the whole time.  She barely even cried.  I was disappointed I didn't even get a good nap out of it ;)

Next week we are taking both kids on an airplane and not bringing seats for either. I'm also relying on the IPad to keep my almost two year old in the seat belt when I know he could probably wiggle out pretty easily. It's a little less than 2 hour flight so I'm really not that worried.

I'm taking my boys on a flight tonight. No car seat for DS1 and DS2 will be a lap child.

Oh... And by myself. Pray for us.
Oh that's right. I remember you saying that. All my sedated children vibes coming your way. And hopefully booze coming your way when you get to your destination :)

Thank you :). I'll take all the booze. And I see nothing flameful about the iPad. Sanity is priceless. We might even spring for the wifi this trip.

And good luck to you, too!

I hold the baby for most of his naps. I occasionally have him in the swing or bouncy sear if I need to use the bathroom or make lunch. I haven't tried to put him in the crib for a nap in weeks--he kept waking up, even though he sleeps well in there at night.

I should have been working on this the last few weeks since daycare and my Mom won't be able to hold him all day when I go back next week. However, I haven't been willing to give up any cuddles as I get closer to going back to work... I really hope he transitions okay. :(

I could've written this exact same thing.

My FFFC is that I always come up with UOs and FFFCs on days other than Thursday and Friday..and then promptly forget them.

    Meeee too!!!!! All the time.

Here's one I thought of today: I get unreasonably angry at LO sometimes when he decides to be a crazy nurser. Punching and laughing and wiggling and doing everything but nurse. Then, screaming when I put my boob away as if I've deprived him of food for hours. I've never acted on the anger, but, geez...c'mon kid.

Another confession: Then I feel guilty that I'm mad at him for being a crazy person that day, because so many people on here and IRL would kill to nurse, even if it was crazy.

I love to cuddle my napping LO. DH says she has to start napping in her crib. I just want to soak up her baby-hood. I only have a few more weeks.
  • I always take longer on the toilet because I'm Bumping or on FB & IG.

I pee in the shower almost every day.

I enjoy changing LOs poopy diapers. I feel like its a challenge.

I think we're the same person lol

  • I insert curse words in all the songs I sing DS and in the books I read. It's funny and more entertaining.
  • I'm ready for DS to start eating food...bottles are boring.

@jayne1024 Thanks for cheering me up today :D
  • I love having a baby. I get so sad thinking about my LO getting older. I am kind of already looking forward to our next baby. I get why the Duggar's have so many kids...but we'll probably stop at 2.
This should be under UO. ;)
  • It probably should...but admitting that I (in some ways...well one) agree with the Duggar's seems like a flameworthy confession, doesn't it?

Yes. Very much so. They are nuts.
