Ours is at 10 tomorrow. Don't know what we'll do if baby doesn't show off the goods. DH is freaked out enough about the possibility of a girl, we need to just know one way or the other already!
I have mine on Wednesday at 10:30am! I can't wait until Saturday though because we're having a house warming/sex reveal party so that's when we'll find out if it's a little he or she
Congrats everyone on all the healthy boys and girls so far!
We have to wait until Friday afternoon (I'll be exactly 20 weeks)! Both excited and nervous to find out if the baby is healthy. My brother had a cleft lip, so we're hoping to check for that in particular as it can be genetic. And of course we're hoping for all healthy organs and growth! (I get nervous because I'm still down 20 lbs from morning sickness and have had a hard time keeping my vitamins down. Hoping that the baby just took what he needed from me!)
Also, hoping to get a guess on the sex from a second set of eyes, since we were told at an elective 17 week scan that we were having a boy. I'm pretty sure I saw boy parts as well, but would love the confirmation!
Good luck to everyone this week, I can't wait to check back and see everyone's updates!!
My Dr reviewed my pictures and everything is good. she said that the babys hand was between the legs so it made it hard to tell. She says that she sees 3 lines and she thinks its 80% chance its a girl. excited!
But if she saw 3 lines wouldn't it mean it is definitely a girl?!
We got a little fighter. Team Green here, however baby kept kicking and protected face like a boxer during out a/s. Weighs a little over a lb right now, we saw 10 little fingers and toes, and everything is developing as should be. The appointment went even better when they said I no longer have to see the perinatologist every month, since BP and protein levels are ok.
Congrats to all you mommas! Kinda makes me wish I'd waited til 20wks. Pretty sure we saw boy parts at 17wks 6d but the tech was wrong before, so now I'm curious if she could be wrong again. May go in for an elective 3D to confirm at some point although I think it would be funny if we just ended up having the opposite. So excited for all you finding out!! I accidentally skipped to the end of this thread and it was like a book where I'd accidentally skipped to the end, I had to hurriedly go back to the beginning before I read anything all the while the anticipation of baby news was building .
We're having our scan tomorrow and I'm so excited and nervous. Hoping everything is measuring and looking good with our baby, and of course, hopeful that we get to find out the sex (although it won't be the end of the world if we don't). Just very excited to see baby.
No luck on seeing baby b's parts today but at least my sch is smaller. Will have to wait another week for a more thorough scan. Yay for being at the of the month!
I just got home toooo. She has remained a she and is 100% good to go!! She refused to give a view of her spine to the u/s tech, so the doctor had to do that portion himself (apparently, as soon as he said that she had no defects, she decided to spin and show it off and keep us from a second a/s).
He did say that since I am special (first baby was 11 years ago and I had pre-eclampsia along with having had gastric bypass) that he wanted to schedule me for 2 additional ultrasounds. I get that this is because higher risks (we discussed what to keep an eye out for with pre-e, and the technical terms for a million years between babies), but I'm honestly excited that we will get to see her again at 28 and 34 weeks!!
and... I am so so so relieved that I can throw out the receipts for the girly clothes, and we don't need to repaint the argyle!
Ours is the 5th (Wednesday) at noon, and I've been counting down the number of "sleeps" until we get there like it's Christmas. Can't wait to see our little Bean again and to hear that all is well and healthy! ::nervously biting nails::
Some folks (my DH included) have never been around babies before, and I have 100% confidence he'll get the hang of it. You've been around them, just more of the variety without peens!
Just got out of the scan and baby is a boy. He wouldn't move much so they think he might have been napping but midwife wasn't too concerned that they couldn't get all the measurements. I'm really happy that the baby seemed healthy overall but I am a bit sad that it isn't a girl. Also got told I have an anterior placenta and that DH shouldn't expect to feel him until the end of pregnancy. After struggling with previous losses I know i should be more happy especially since the baby seemed healthy. I'm just scared of having boy and not knowing the right things to do with him. I grew up with a sister and 9 girl cousins and 1 boy, so I'm nervous of messing up.
Boys are amazing! You'll learn more about superheroes than you ever imagined, and as long as you can chase him everywhere, you'll do great. They're so much fun when they start turning into adults, too! And they stay cuddle bugs with Mom. Congrats!!
We are team blue again! I'm really thrilled... My boys will be 19 mos apart. We were able to see the boy parts right away. I do have just marginal placenta prévia so they want to repeat ultrasound at 30 weeks just to make sure it's moved out of the way enough. OB said 90% of the time it will.
Mine was yesterday! Everything looked healthy and right on track. Baby is still a boy, I made them check out of panic. Feeling good enough to start shopping and begin decorating some. He also cooperated for a nice profile shot which is something he didn't do at our last u/s.
Had mine today! All of the measurements and organs looked great so that was a relief. Baby didn't cooperate very well though, so we didn't see the face or find out the sex. Going back next week for a redo.
We had our second scan this morning since the first ine 2 weeks ago was with an uncooperative baby. The Tech thought we wouldn't get the measurements again this time because it was still all curled up! Finally last minute she got all the measurements she needed and we found out we're having a girl!! So excited to meet our little Gemma Starling!
That name is just perfect. Love Gemma!
I love that name! I have it on my list!

TTC since March 2013. BFP 4/13/13, blighted ovum discovered 6/6/13, m/c 6/8/13.
We had ours today, and everything went well. The tech couldn't say much of course but she did say, "I wouldn't let you leave if something was wrong." And we obvs got to leave.
Still Team Green, baby had its fists up, so I said it was fist pumping at da club.

All good for our scan, a happy, healthy, squirmy little Bean was incredibly active, and we are still Team Green (although it's now killing me that I know that SOMEONE knows and I don't). Woohoo!
I had my scan Monday afternoon at 20 weeks. Its a Boy! Husband is a happy camper LOL! He is in the 97th percentile for his size......Yikes! They did see echogenetic bowl (grade 2). We are both CF carriers, so we are running tests for infections and did the glucose test early to rule out GD as well. I did have a placental bleed in January so, the baby may have swallowed some blood or it could be nothing. My test for DS was 1:5000 and with no other markers found at all both the geneticist and my OB believe that the risk of DS is really low (especially given the size). If the infections and GD are ruled out then we are looking at either Cystic Fibrosis, the blood swallowing or nothing at all. Love the waiting...HA! Glad that everything else looked normal! I have another level 2 scan in 8 weeks to check on things. Unless something else comes up I am not doing an amino. I am very fortunate that I get real time results with the genetic specialist!
My AS was actually on 2/21. But I got a surprise repeat at the docs office today because the original tech messed up my AFI. It was GREAT to see my little girl again as last time, she was covering her face and the tech did nothing to try to get her moved. Ahhhh... Feels good to tell someone.
We had ours Tuesday and its a Boy! Have to go back in 2 weeks because baby was not in the right position for heart measurements. But excited to see him again
Had ours yesterday and what a relief, the findings came in that everything looked normal and on track for a healthy baby due in late July. The ultrasound tech did say that we've got a "big" baby on our hands and that HIS hands are big (daddy has really big hands and feet...) So, we've got ourselves a little Lucas Anthony. Couldn't be more thrilled.
We had ours this morning and to my surprise we are having a baby girl she looks beautiful and is very healthy! I go back in 2 weeks for them to get the rest of the measurements because she was sleeping and didn't want to be disturbed!
Already went shopping and got enough clothes to fill her closet...we were a little excited!
Good luck to those of you who are coming up soon!!!
We ended up getting our appointment pushed up to today. It went so great and the baby is doing awesome! She's still a girl which is great since we already have done a lot of shopping
So happy to hear about all of the healthy check ups and good luck to everyone with upcoming appointments!!
we had out ultrasound appointment today and all was great we have to wait a few days to hear from our doctor what the sex is as the ultrasound techs don't tell. the tech got really excited at the beginning at how clearly she could see the heart and took 5 minutes just to take pictures of it. Had to move around a bit to get the baby to turn over as it was facing downward but when it finally did turn it had a kind of dr. evil smile going on. then once dh came into the room baby got really active and the tech got excited because she was able to get some amazing shots of the spine and profile. baby looks healthy and growing great!
I did not have my a/s this week, but finally got to hear the results (the tech didn't tell me anything at my A/S on 2/12). Everything came back normal, and they kept my due date at 7/2 (despite all the baby's measurements being 1+ weeks ahead). Really hoping to get a memo to LO to come as close to her due date as possible (that totally works right?!?!) because DH will be home 6/28-7/9 but will be gone for a few weeks before that and a few weeks after.
