I made L a 'book of faces' a couple weeks ago. She now turns the pages and shouts out the family names in it with an expression telling us how proud of herself she is. It is so funny to watch. My grandmother is coming for a visit this weekend and I am so excited for her to walk in and L to shout 'GiGi'. She is going to be so excited.

McDonalds cheeseburger at 10:45 followed by random bites of DH's lunch.
He's recognizing a couple letters and really good (for a 17 month old, I mean) at picking up pieces of the alphabet puzzle and knowing where they go/the object they go with. I love when he picks up the M and says moon! and then puts it in the right spot. Or the N and says nest!
He's also started asking for smoothie CONSTANTLY by saying "mooney! Mooney!" And it is not so cute. And he loves emporers new groove and says "Boom baby!" About a billion times a day to try to get me to start it. Ah, patience...
I had a Philly cheesesteak. I'm on to graham crackers now.
I went away for a girls weekend, and came back to discover my husband and FIL taught E to fake burp on command. It's pretty impressive.
I could totally go for a real Philly cheesesteak. Worst part about living in VA is all the crappy options for cheesesteaks.
I thought L's fake sneezes were good, I am jealous of the fake burping. hahah

When I ask her if she wants tsomething she says "No thanks Mommy, I'm fine." Or when she falls down randmoly, which she does a lot, she says, "Don't worry about me Mommy, I just need more practice." Her little adult language cracks me up.

Mini bagel pizzas.
I can't think of anything new and cute.
Aww RNM, I am sorry and I know it will get better soon. G's teeth will come out eventually and she will go back to her normal self.

I had a wrap. Colby has made friends in the babysitting room at the gym. There are two little boys his age that he lights up when they come in the room. He goes over to them each and hugs them then rubs their heads.
It's not new but we finally figured out that "Oh neen" = "All clean" and "On nan" - "All done". We've also made progress on "yea" to deter some of the many "NO"s.

Oh my. Grandpas are trouble.
My stepdad taught A to stick her tongue out at people and he finds bit hilarious. I told him to just remember that it's his fault in a year when it isn't quite as innocent/cute...
A is sick, so we're home today. I got out her animal puzzle, which she totally didn't get a few wks ago, and she was able to point to where the pieces go. She has little desire to put them there though. She also learned "uh oh" so now she drops things like her lovey on purpose, says uh oh, and then signs please to get it back. Repeat.
We were playing with DDs toy animals saying all the sounds they make. When we got to giraffe, I didn't know what sound it made, so I just said a giraffe has a long neck. Now whenever she sees the giraffe she points to her neck and says "looooooooooong neck" (which sounds more like non neck).
T walked over to his high chair yesterday when I asked him if he was ready to eat lunch. He then proceeded to try and pull his pants down because we always strip his clothes off before meals since he is so messy. Also, when he gives hugs he grunts really loudly when he squeezes. So funny.
Since our trip, every time DD seas a large body of water (IRL, in a book, or on TV) she points and yells "whale" and then makes a blow ing sound like when she saw them spout. It's pretty darn cute.

She does cute things. Nothing new though. Any time we walk through a door (gym, church, store) or when someone walks through our door at home she yells hi no matter where she is.
I found a box stuffed with cat toys in the living room today. Not really new or that cute, but funny. I bet the cats are wondering where their toy mice are.
My lunch was really a late breakfast. My coworker brought in muffins as an "I'm sorry we forgot your birthday" treat. At this point, my birthday was almost a month ago. It annoys me more that she's *just* finding the time to pick up 6 muffins at the grocery store.
Hannah has been doing so many cute things lately. She's becoming quite the little Prima Donna, and when I tell her how cute she looks, or that a bow looks beautiful in her hair, she says "I know!"
Also, for the first time on Saturday, she actually told me when she pooped. Of course, she hasn't done it again, but hey, progress.
We went to a baby shower on Saturday. She was being super shy and clinging to me when we got there. Two minutes in after we'd said hello she looked around back at me said "Ok, done" and pointed to the door. I chuckled.
I was supposed to have chicken noodle soup but I'm home sick. I've officially thrown up 5 times since being home at 2pm! DS has been in a hugging phase so he'll push his dump truck around then comes over say "hug" and give me a big one! Its so cute!
I had a lunch date with DH since we had E's parent-teacher conference right before. I had a delicious fried chicken salad.
ERy says "CLAW" whenever he sees the alien from Toy Story on his book or pjs. We were at a consignment sale and he started yelling "CLAW CLAW CLAW" which sounds like "gawww." Sure enough, aliens were behind us.
Yesterday we were at my inlaws house. Sean disappeared around the side of the garage. When I found him he was pointing and saying "Mmm-now Mmm-now Mmm-now." He was so excited. It took me a minute, but he was telling me their cat was over there.
Re: Lunch and a question
Salad with salmon on top.

I had leftover chili for lunch.
DS has been doing a lot of dancing lately and, when we stop singing or dancing, he asks for "mo" in his little voice. It's very cute.
Adding one for DD:
When I ask her if she wants tsomething she says "No thanks Mommy, I'm fine." Or when she falls down randmoly, which she does a lot, she says, "Don't worry about me Mommy, I just need more practice." Her little adult language cracks me up.
LO just discovered he can tumblesault with a little help. He goes into a crazy downward dog pose and then we flip him over. He loves it.
If it makes you feel any better, it was a high school cafeteria Philly cheesesteak. I guessing your crappy VA options are slightly tastier .
I can't think of anything new and cute.

She started saying "Bless you" when someone sneezes.
DD learned to say her brother's name, so now she'll say, "hi/bye/night-night Anthony!" And it's sooo cute!
Last night I was singing "Let It Go" and Nola started "singing" the melody. She's getting quick with the mimicking these days!
