Had to share this awesome conversation I just had with a co-worker...
Co-Worker: So what are you guys having?
Me: GIRLS!
Co-Worker: GIRLS?!?! (with a disgusted face) THAT"S NO FUN!!!
Me: Well, we're having fun with it.
Co-Worker: It would have been better if it was one boy and one girl (clearly does not understand what IDENTICAL twins are)
Me: Okay.
Co-Worker: So you're gonna try for more, right?
UMMM....I'll just let you plan my family from here on out...
What are some of the "AWESOME" things you guys have heard?

I saw my grandmother for the first time yesterday since I've been showing. She's always harped on me about gaining too much weight while pregnant, especially since I gained 60 with DS.
I saw her yesterday, and she was genuinely surprised by how "good I looked" and was asking me if I was still wearing my old clothes (I am, with a belly band, but maternity tops -- they make my bump look so much cuter!!). So, she says to me in her ever so condescending voice "Well, if it's any motivation for you, I never wore any maternity clothes."
Nope, not motivation, gma...
That's horrible, what is wrong with people. At least you're able to laugh about it.
I get the "trying for a girl?" all the time, since we have 2 boys. Like the pp said, we tried for a baby, not a girl. That being said...I do think it would be fun to have a girl to mix things up a little bit.

This is our 3rd (when we already have one of each) so apparently we're freaks for wanting more because we already have a "perfect family" Things we've been told include, but are not limited to:
You know what causes it right?
If you get a C-section, it's really easy for them to just tie your tubes while they're in there...
You're husband is getting snipped after this right?
Wow, you'll have your hands full/ you sure are brave/ good luck with that... (and other snide comments about our ability to "handle it")
How will you afford it?
What does your family think (said in a tone that clearly indicates if THEY were our family, they would not approve)
The list goes on.... I hate it >:-(
My twins Benjamin and Olivia
He just says, 'Well, I'm screwed either way, right?'
He thinks having a second daughter will be insane when they're both teenagers. He tells people that's probably what he deserves.
If it's a boy, he says we're screwed because we'll have to buy all new stuff (clothes/bedding).
People just don't even respond to him. I love it.

He has this weird complex about me always weighing less than him. He wouldn't care if I was 300lbs as long as he was 301... I don't get it!!!
I felt horrified for her poor son
