Last time I was pregnant, I got asked by numerous STRANGERS if I was having twins (I was not). I was nice about it last time; this time around, I have a few prepared responses, if I have the nerve to actually say them.
We've been asked a lot if we are hoping for a girl this time and a few times whether we will try again if this one is a boy. With those questions I just sort of shrug, because while I do hope we have a girl, I also will be 100% happy with another boy, and I can't make a decision now about having another one because I don't know what having two will be like.
I was due in two days with my son and went to shop at Target. This random lady stopped me and asked when I was due. I told her in two days and she excitedly told me her daughter was due the same day. Then she looked me up and down and asked if I was having twins.
I got married August 24, 2013 and we got pregnant right away. We announced the news to our extended family on Christmas. At one of the Christmas parties I had a friend/neighbor that I didn't know ask me if it was a shot gun wedding? Really dude?!?!?! I almost reached my hands up to shake him. Who even says that to someone they don't know? Side note I was engaged to my DH for 2 years.
