This is all I have done so far. The wall hangings aren't even aligned right...I need to get my butt in gear. The dresser is also assembled, but there's just a bunch of junk on it.

I have a Pinterest board, and have been purchasing small items from Etsy like a changing table caddy and stuffed animals. We are painting the walls grey, and getting all white furniture, then having slight orange and teal accents and patterns. I'm on a bit of a moratorium from buying until after the baby shower. DH is inbtwn jobs and he still wants to take me on a baby moon, so I should save $$ right now. We have paint samples and we have a huge organizational project bc we need to convert the nursery from a hobby/storage/guest room by taking everything out and transferring it to the garage. I get tired just thinking about it. Fingers crossed DH is as motivated NOW (why not the last 4 months idk!!) to get this done before the middle of March when we want to get away.

Heres where were at now. Its a surf theme, so the stripes are a sunset. The bottom stripe will be brown for sand when we finish. The blue is a bit more vibrant than the pic shows and the light yellow strip will go all the way around the room when its done. I have the endless summer poster to put up once I get a frame. The furniture is white and we will do his name above the closet in red letters. Im thinking about getting a large white palm tree decal for the other wall w the closet that isnt shown but I havemt decided on that yet. Bedding... we have a yellow chevron shert and a grey and white sheet for the crib.

Everyone's pictures look great!

We have no theme, just some of our favorites for wall art and then whatever hand-me-downs/gifts we have received. Hopefully I will get around to the wall letters this week and then take some pics.

Love it! Where did you find the here comes the sun print? I found one on etsy but it's girly colors. That song was what our wedding party marched out to at our wedding so I'd love one in nursery. We are huge Beatles fans.

Here is what I have done so far, just need to put up a couple shelves. The space above the crib is reserved for his newborn photos

don't mind my dogs bed, he's still upset we got rid of the guest bed.

Thanks! Only the wall that the crib is going on is going to be that color. The rest is going to be grey. I'm debating about painting the closet door pink.

Ours is pretty much done since LO will be sharing DD's nursery. I have an alphabet poster that I want to hang above the bed and some wall ledges for the kids' books and I think it will be done.

Love your pale gray paint! What color did you use? I'm also trying to pick out a gray and it's so hard!

I think it's actually more of a greenish color (looks more grey in the pics). I debated on painting it because I wanted a real grey but I think it might be too much work haha. It's just the colors all the walls in our house are...

I do have a grey/white chevron border paper my MIL got with the bed set... I think I might put that up to tie everything together!! I was reading te instructions and even that sounds kind of difficult tho ... So I guess we will see haha

I'll have to look because we painted over a year ago. It actually looks icy light blue during the day so we were waiting to see if it was a boy or girl (boy!). So we are leaving it. Grey is so hard to find the perfect match, so many undertones!!

@cynthia6206 @snowflake312 I don't have pics yet but we went through the "perfect light gray" thing this weekend and ended up with Benjamin Moore Winter Solstice. In certain lights it looks like it leans a teeny bit blue but most of the time it's a very soft, light gray. It was harder to find a true gray than I thought!

This is what we have so far. There are still embroidery hoops (you can see in the nightstand) that will go on the wall beside the rocker, travel art that will go behind the crib, and a map wall that will be on the wall you can't see by the dresser. The theme is adventure/maps and our colors are grey/aqua/yellow. Waiting for showers for more decor items too.

We have Olympic's Gray Ghost in much of our home and love it. It's actually in the nursery now too. :-)

We currently don't have a lot done, but just in case anyone was looking for another gray wall paint recommendation we used Montpelier Ashlar Gray from Valspar (Lowes). It is gorgeous and has a brown undertone to it. Here is a picture of it in natural light (please ignore the plethora of stuffed elephants - I need to find somewhere to put them all!)

@w028rjb - we used the same color in our nursery!

We have the crib put together and we bought a dresser from a vintage consignment shop - real mahogany from the 1940's for $200 - score!

Edit: sorry these are upside down- too lazy to fix.

Here's our baby's room so far. We still need window treatments, a light fixture and a small book case. Also pictures need to get hung up on the wall along with a few other finishing touches. We also kept a double bed in there so one of us can sleep in there and get up with the baby when the other needs a bit more rest.
