I had a fever during delivery last night do they've been keeping a close eye on her since she was born. She had trouble keeping her body temp up today and then her white blood count was incredibly elevated so she was admitted to the NICU this afternoon. She will be there on IV antibiotics for a minimum of two days but chances are good it'll be more like five+ days. While infections like this can be very common and treated rather easily usually it's still terrifying and heartbreaking to see her there and so sick. What a ride the last 24 hours have been. Any T&Ps for her that you can spare are greatly appreciated.
