@rebennet06 I may have mentioned this to you before so I'm sorry if I did, but I wanted to let you know one of my best friends is Emmalyne Joyce ) love it!
I love the name Lucas but my husband says "it sounds too biblical"???? Weird, but I lost the battle with DS and if this one ends up bring a boy I'm going to continue to put up a fight for it! he likes Braden... Robert will more than likely be the boy middle name since almost every male in both of our families has the name Robert as either first or middle name. If it's a girl he likes Reagan and I can't come up with any that I like but I like Nicole for a middle name because it seems to go with everything! You aren't kidding when you say it's hard to name a human!
No Lucas in the Bible. Luke, yes... Which is why we were set on Luke if it was a boy.
Exactly why I think it's weird that he said that. He was raised VERY religious and just doesn't want a "biblical" name because of it I guess and he knows we would call him Luke. We won't fight over it again unless we find out that it is a boy
Ava Marie for a girl and Aidan Matthew Ritter for a boy. Girl name is our girl name from last time and we picked out the boy name before I got pregnant this time.
We're still good with Remy Lauren for a girl (I actually hate the name Lauren, but it's my first name and family tradition yadda yadda yadda). We agreed on Dominic Christopher for a boy and while it's okay, I'm not in love with the name Dominic. I could live with it, we'd probably end up calling him Nic, but I still prefer the name Marcus. I wanted to go with something Roman rather than just Italian. DH cares about as much for Marcus though as I do for Dominic, so I guess we'll just wait and see which one he looks like. I have a pretty strong feeling this one's a boy so the discussion may come up.
ETA: @cbear2010, I also LOVE the name Vera. Unfortunately, no V names for us. Our last name starts with a D and I couldn't give a child the initials VD...that's just asking for trouble.
@ConversationFear, awww thanks! We really like it and think it goes well with Elise.
-Random backstory: DH is in a band and is just very musically talented. Fur Elise was the first song he ever learned to play on the piano, hence LOs name. We both love(d) Pink Floyd growing up and loved the song Vera - so we would also be keeping that music theme going. And Marshall is classic and yet also his favorite band equipment company lol
We are set on first names! Astrid for a girl, Lincoln for a boy... We both are leaning heavily towards a girl just because we love the name so much! My fiancé picked out our boys name, he wanted Link and I refuse to have a nickname as a first name. We also really really like Luna but we'll save that for girl #2 if we get her no other names have really stuck with us. We had Astrid decided before we started trying and Lincoln the day after my positive.
I haven't given it a thought yet. The thought of naming this baby makes my brain want to explode. I should know the sex a week from tomorrow. We probably still won't start talking about names until June or July.
@sultern Thank you! we had picked Adeline for a girl way back when we started dating, 7 years ago.. when we tried figuring out a boys name, DH couldn't think of any so I came up with a list and Bentley and Jameson were the only ones he didn't veto but he said for two days how much he liked Bentley. Our last name is Turner, so there's a lot of names we couldn't pick... Tina, Paige, Timmy...
We haven't done much talking about it. Naming another boy stresses me out because we had a hard time agreeing the first time. I want to have fairly good idea when we find out so we can start using the name with DS. We had picked names going into the ultrasound last time and ended up deciding it wouldn't be the right name. Our leftover girl names are Laurel and Carolyn, if we pick Carolyn I want a middle name with a J so she can be "CJ". I really have no idea for boys, DHs suggestions are Norman, Rupert, and Sigfreid - all not my style. DS is Lane.
@rebennet06 I may have mentioned this to you before so I'm sorry if I did, but I wanted to let you know one of my best friends is Emmalyne Joyce ) love it!
Ooh I like that spelling too! Thanks a lot now I have another option! haha
Right now we like Genevieve (nn Evie) the most for a girl. Also like Georgia, Penelope and Abigail. For a boy we like Archie or Cooper, and I'm in love with Guthrie but worry it is too out there.
We picked out names early because last time we fought horribly over it. So we decided that for the next and any subsequent pregnancies we'd decide before I got pregnant or very early on.
Cyrus was also an option for a boy, but DH decided he liked Levi better. I also like Margot and Emery for a girl.
I love Lucy for a girl but my husband says she will get teased in high school because people will call her "loose". Really??
This is what people are telling me about naming mine Lucy if it's a girl.
I would have never thought of that. I love the name Lucy but I probably wouldn't use it since all the women in my family are "I Love Lucy" fans and all I would picture saying to this kid is (in an accent) "Luuuucy, I'm hoooome!"
I picked Lucy because growing up my grandmother always called me Lucy (my name is Emily) but always my whole life called me Lucy, so I want to use it to honor her and I'm very hooked on Lucy Kathryn, and I never would have thought of people calling her loose either, but I guess when naming a baby it's something to think about. Back to the drawing board...
We've actually pretty much settled on our little girl's name. DH vetoed all my other ideas...so I'm encouraging him to do some research of his own before we get too attached to this name

@Mrs. Pliemann we're pretty similar, so we pick traditional names and change the spelling.

I love Remy and Autumn for a girl. I was in love with the name Isla until I my friend mentioned a lady in her office named Isla. Hearing someone else say it out loud made me realize I didn't love it as much as I thought. I loved Evelyn, too, until I realized three women in my office have babies under one with the same name which makes me think it is getting pretty popular. Remy is my top choice, but I don't know if I will be able to get SO on board.
I could go for days listing boy names. Wesley is my current favorite.

Gage Douglas 09.04.2014...my sunshine after the rain.
Baby names are kind of stressing me out right now. My DH will not even talk about it until me know what it is, but I need to have a plan. Our first two DS were easy because we already had names set before I was even pregnant. Their names are Kyler (Ky) and Logan. Maybe you ladies can help shorten my lists...
Girls Olivia Amelia Kennedy McKenna Ivy Cora Her middle name will be Lou for DH Grandmother's middle name
Boys Mason Reid Jude Rylan Most likely his middle name will be Gale for my Grandfather
I agreed to allow DH (a "jr") to name the boy Gary Vincent (the third!) if I could have full naming rights for the girl. This deal was set before we were even engaged Girl is Gemma Elizabeth. Since there are too many Gary's in our family already (if you ask me!), we would call him Vinnie or Vinn.
I seem to pick all the names and then DH vetoes them but can't come up with any on his own. For a girl I really like Riley but DH hates it and my mom said it sounds like a dogs name (she knows 1 dog named Riley). Brooke was our girls name last time that we didn't use, but now I am not loving it as much as I did last time. the middle name will be Carrie (my sisters name). For a boy I think we agreed on Caleb or Kaleb (DH likes it with a K). Middle name will be Michael after my father.
I have always loved the name Olivia but my dh doesn't like it.
For a girl we agreed on Quinn Marian. Marian is my grandmothers name and she will be turning 100 in November. She is super excited for her 14th great grand child and thought it would be a nice tribute.
For a boy we like Charles Joseph and we will call him Charlie or CJ.

I tend to like non traditional names and he's very traditional and when we compromise it seems like they're all hippie/earthy names. Hahaha!
Ruby was in my top 5, even though it's gaining popularity, but he said it sounded too much like "booby". Ugh.

I love nontraditional Biblical boy names: Ezra, Amos, Abel, Ezekiel [Zeke], Malachi, Gideon, Micah, Titus & Asher.
Felicity has always been a favorite, so maybe that could come into play.
Or Laurenn Grace pernounced La ren:)
No boy names here yet
