My little guys name is Chad Miles but this baby if it's a girl will be Seanna Rose and a boy we are undecided we like Beau or Tate middle name will be Carter after my grandmothers maiden name.
For girls I like Genevieve, Adeline, Amelia (not as much as before though), and Eleanor (Nora). For boys I like Owen Lewis. DH is a junior but I don't know if he's going to push for a third - I hope not. I always found the "III" rather pretentious, plus then all three of us have first names that start with R. My sister is trying to convince me to use Meridian for a girl.
Also our last name is ----brook so until we know more, it's the ----brooklet.
Rhea Grace for a girl Or Laurenn Grace pernounced La ren:) No boy names here yet
Why would you do that? Your poor offspring will be stuck correcting people the rest of her life. I do not even understand the appeal of La Ren, but if that's what you want her called, then spell it exactly like that. "Clever" and "cute" spellings and pronunciations are not actually clever or cute.
I agree that have a unique pronunciation for a seemingly traditional name is going to be a PITA for that kid. I have a somewhat non-traditional name, and my parents didn't go with the usual spelling, and having to make that correction all the time is annoying enough as it is.
I love name discussions! There are some great ones in this group I'm having a boy and am set on Luca right now....hopefully my husband will give up and agree because I'm ready to order some personalized baby items!
As a receptionist, I have to say that unique spellings drive both me and (usually) the person stuck with them absolutely batty.
I hate wasting 10 minutes looking for an employee in the directory only to find out that Susan is Suzyn. Ffffffffff.
So far our naming theme seems to be "names we were almost named". Thus for a boy we're favoring Brandon, and for a girl...Willow. Willow, while uncommon, is at least a "real word" and no one will trip over spelling/pronouncation.
(I'd have liked to be Willow, but my maiden name was Wood, so I can understand why my mom didn't have the heart to do that to us! haha)
Is heartily apologizing to her child in advance for genes that predispose them to shitty vision and being Too Damn Tall.
I just know how TB is about you-neek spellings and don't want to hear the idiocracy people come up with to make fun of my children. I've heard most of it already. DH and I both come from families that enjoy the odd spellings so when naming our oldest we named her after her 4 aunts. And that led to spelling them all differently since we took parts of peoples names instead of naming directly after them. We figure if Lexy or any of the other kids would rather go by or even change their names to the standard spelling as an adult that is their choice.
Their names are Alexys Elisse, Nadylie Ryann, Scarlytt Rose and either Mykka Raygen or Rykor Arlo.

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!
I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!

My cousin did something similar - she and her husband both have names that end in y, so they put in a y in both their kids names. Like Zoey said, not my style, but they match each other well. Thanks!
SO and I haven't really talked names other than me throwing some out there when I come across one I like. I like the names Nico, Demetrius, and Ezra for a boy or Anastasia, Aurora, and Luna for a girl. However 50 shades of grey has made Anastasia a no-go because SO doesn't like the thought of a popular smut book having the same name as his daughter. (i get where hes coming from but damn it i like the name lol)
That's my real name - Anastasia. If it's any consolation, only one person has ever made the coorelation between my name and the book...
My real name too! Most of the time they ask if I was named after the princess (Romanov). I have only had one person make the connection between my name and the book...people love my name and I always get compliments. I wouldn't worry about what the name is associated with now, I mean in 10 years any one of your picked names could be associated with something you might not like (not reassuring, sorry, but food for thought.)
My husband is "the fourth" so apparently we have a boys name picked out (though I'm not a fan, I think it sounds a bit pretentious to let it go that far). We agree on most girls names and have a list that will hopefully get narrowed down a little. Our plan is to take a few favorites to the hospital and name baby once we see her (if it is a her). His theory is that it's hard to name something you've never seen, but I think I'd rather have a name already picked. Naming would be so much easier if he just agreed with me.

ETA: It is pronounced, not pernounced.
