OMG, only 11 more posts (10 after this) until we've reached 1k. Sorry that this post is meaningless. If it helps at all, here's some info I'm sure you need in life... I've been drinking water, but still have yellow/orange pee. Partially can be from vitamins, but it shouldn't be *that* dark... am I really supposed to be drinking over 100oz/day?!

Man, you miss keeping up with a thread for just a few days and it gets 300 posts ahead of you...

Also, I'm super super excited because DH has today off and is working on clearing out the closet in the baby's room! I asked him to get it started if he had time, but I totally did not expect him to actually do it because I'm feeling the pressure to get things done and he feels like we have all kinds of time. So yaaaay progress!

Livid and need to rant!!!!!

Maternal grandmother won custody of my husbands daughter who has been living with us for 2 years.... All because the $&@ ing judge has it out for military men. Judges worlds the mitary is not a stable place for a child to be raised" what?????? I am a stay at home mother. This guy so on crack and now my step daughter has to go live her evil grandmother who hates me and my husband, And we have to pay 600$ a month.
She has money and got a lawyer while we couldn't.
Oh did I mention this is all taking place in Ontario.
Just what I needed during this pregnancy is to lose my (step) daughter. It kills me when she calls crying telling me she doesn't want to live with her nana.

I'm sorry, icha. That said, you will move on, and eventually meet someone new. A real father is the man who contributes to raising and loving a baby, not the one who knocked mom up. I say this as an adopted woman whose parents weren't the ones who gave me DNA.

@SarahVol31 - I'm sorry! That sounds painful.

One of my friends is convinced that pregnant women cut their fingers/handd more of often because their balance is out of whack. At least 3 of my pregnant friends have cut themselves while prepping/cooking. I got myself pretty good last pregnancy. Eesh, maybe there is something to it?

2 vents, because I don't have anyone else to bitch to:

1) I LOVE my chosen profession but the place I work right now.... I hate with a passion. If I could, I would quit RIGHT NOW. Sometimes, just the thought of going into work makes me want to cry. Granted my situation is adding extra stress, but my boss is a huge B.

2) OB said he would call with a/s results "If there is anything abnormal". Umm... how about you call me to tell me the results even if they are NORMAL? I hate getting anxious every time I feel my phone start to vibrate.

Thanks everyone. @luckynumbers81, well she was 11. Unfortunately MIL found her dead this morning, about four hours after she was released. We're glad she at least didn't have to die at the vet. Found out while we were at the OB (and luckily our scan was normal and baby was healthy.) but we also found out I'm RH-negative, which sounds like its not a big deal right?

Anyway, spent the rest of the day eating all the food and crying and watching a how I met your mother marathon. Ugh. Thanks for letting me rant. Shitty day.

I have good moments and I have not so good moments. It's starting to sink in which is bringing up more panic, but I keep reminding myself that everyone is healthy and that's all that matters.

That definitely the most important thing, but don't forget to show yourself some grace and give yourself time to adjust!
