Thinking of you and your LO. Hoping you get the best outcome possible from the MRI. Sounds like you are at a great hospital! Sending you lots of love and healthy happy thoughts!
Thank you for your update. I'm glad to hear that LO's heart isn't compromised, and it sounds like you are receiving terrific care. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Lots of love and ((hugs)) back to you.

Just a positive story - my little brother was born with a SCT. He's adopted from Haiti and didn't receive treatment until he was a few months old. He has some other issues that have caused other problems but as far as the SCT was concerned - it did not affect his ability to walk. He has some loss of feeling in his legs/feet and isn't as sensitive to pain but he's an active 8 yr old boy! Good luck to you!

Sorry I have not been on to write, this has been an emotionally draining week. The baby does have a confirmed SCT type 2, mostly cystic. The doctors are confident we will be able to remove this after birth, along with the tail bone. I will have a planned c-section no later then 37 weeks, the baby will have surgery about two days after birth (depending on when he is born). We will deliver at CHOP and will be continuing my care there with a MFM. Lots of monitoring with weekly ultrasounds going forward. These tumors are known for growing out of control, and that is our main concern now. Please keep us in your thoughts, we need good luck throughout the next few weeks.
Keeping you in my thoughts, hopefully everything goes according to plan and works out for you and LO. Seems like the prognosis is pretty positive so that's always reassuring. All the best to you.
@kittenslove I'm sorry you have to deal with all this, plus the surgery after LO arrives. CHOP is an AMAZING facility, though, and your LO will truly be in the best care possible. I'm right in your area so if you need anything, don't hesitate to message me.
You and your family will cont. to be in my thoughts and prayers, as PP have said, the prognosis seems optimistic, hoping and praying for the best outcomes for your LO
