I woke up around 12:30 a.m to my water breaking, which I find completely ironic because I was dreaming that I was in labor. Took a shower and waited for contractions to increase before heading to L&D. Shit just got real! I can't wait to meet my baby girl!
UPDATE
When we arrived at the hospital, my contractions were every 5 minutes, but I was only at a 2 and 40% effaced. My OB ordered Cervadil and I've made a little progress. If I haven't made significant progress by 9 a.m., they are starting Pitocin. Thanks for all the kind words and well wishes!
UPDATE #2
Pitocin has started and is doing it's job and the scientist who discovered the epidural gets naming rights to my next baby. I was at a 5 an hour ago and the OB anticipates a 6 pm delivery. I can't wait to meet my little nugget!

After 24+ hours of labor, Harper Alexis Lane is finally here. Pics and birth story to follow.
