Decreased fetal movement seriously freaks me out. Normally this baby has a dance party in my belly all day. I've been up since like 6 and have felt maybe 4 kicks.
This was us yesterday... She barely moved at all, all morning!!! She finally started moving and having a party around 3pm or so! She was moving.... In the morning so I knew I didn't have to call but it was one little kick then nothing!!!
Yea the past hour it finally picked up, but for the first time I was ready for LO to come out so I didn't have to worry anymore. Of course that will bring a whole new batch of worrries!
Already ordered and had seven boxes of Girl Scout cookies betweene and my husband. I was satisfied but always wish for more once there gone. Well........ Someone I work with had ordered way to many- 6 more boxes headed my way Thursday! Yes!
Quick DH brag, he bought the baby a super frivolous swing.
Hubs wants the MammaRoo so bad!!
It must be a man thing, the thing is so space age. Really cool but I would never have spent on it.
That swing was the ONLY thing DH wanted to register for! Luckily for him someone purchased it.... now we just need to hope LO will like it ... it is super cool I must admit
@jessher, count me in in the starting over club! Mine are 18, 15 and 7
I always imagine you're like my age.. But I don't think you had your 18 yr old at like.. 7 years old..
I'm a very young 35 though :P I had my first when I was 17.
Had my first at 21. I am strangely comforted by still being in my 30s for this baby (I turn 40 in April). But it's so strange to have always been one of the youngest moms around to now being one of the oldest.
And it's ALSO really strange to have an 18 year old going off to college who you have a rocky relationship with as you are about to have another baby. It's such a wet blanket on my imagination to think that in 18 years I could be crying over my relationship with this baby. They grow up and turn into people, gosh darn it. And not always people you get along with.
@LW78 is your 18 year old in college already or a senior in HS?
Mom to 5 wonderful kids: 18ds, 15ds, 13ds, 11dd and baby boy! Why get old when you can get pregnant?

Ah my DH is so in love with our Mamaroo. He has said on more than one occasion he wishes they made one in adult size haha. I hope LO likes it--but if not our two kitties certainly do! We have to keep a stuffed animal in there at all times or they will stay there for hours!

Count me in to mine are 10, 8, and than this one.
I try to remind myself that everyone wishes for do-overs in life and we get the chance! It's nice to be starting again with all this experience, perspective, and the wisdom of time! And it is SO much easier to be pregnant with older kids instead of little ones.

How the hell am I supposed to sleep tonight?? Tomorrow is like every Christmas of my life plus every finals week all crammed into one.
I'd take some benadryl or something but I'm afraid I'd be groggy when I have to get up.
I'd totally take a benedryl. I don't know how inductions work... but if you're still tired tomorrow can you rest while you wait for it to "kick in"? I'd want to be well rested leading up to labor

This pregnancy has been so much better with my older boys helping out so much. They are so excited! Idk how I did it last time with 2 little ones!
I have had lightning crotch off and on for the past two hours. Make it stop...
I can't help or suggest anything... I have had it a bunch too... After my u/s today I decided it's becasue her head it down there and her hands... So she is poking me or something!!
Same here! It's insane! And to top it off occasionally my entire left leg will go numb or cramp up at the same time as the lightning crotch.. It only lasts a few seconds but it's insane!
LO is kicking and moving around so much right now it's literally painful and I can't sleep. No one warned me about this! lol

I'm hoping ours will like it too - we had one given to us by H's cousin. They used it with one of their twins (she had slept in one while in the NICU so it was the only thing she'd sleep in once they brought her home). We didn't register for a "normal" swing so hopefully this will work!
They better like it! Hell, I want to get in it.
We got one of these as well and my husband keeps saying they need to make one his size! And I agree LO better like it for the price ( ;
I did ask at my last u/s... still a boy! Trust me if this baby come out a girl you get all the points and can laugh as I go try to return all these baby clothes.
Theres only one other lady in L&D right now, and she's in the room across the hall. She just started pushing. This is not helping my anxiety level.

and @kirotea, I'd think about that delivery... IF you said Samoas... yummmmm
(eta... OR if you said Hood Golden Egg Nog... I still haven't stopped craving that....)
Neither my husband or my mother are answering their phones.
Not that i'm calling them for anything important but seriously its the point.
Okay whine over.

It is just definitely a huge SGR moment that I'm next. Wooooo saaaaa.
They just asked her if she wanted to see her placenta and DH and I both immediately looked at each other with matching horrified faces.
It won't be long for you @legallyginger!
