I am in my 1st trimester. Very early about to be 4 weeks pregnant (yes, I tested early). I have been wanting to do my make up but can't because I don't think any of the make up I have is safe to use during pregnancy. Does anyone know what kind of make up I can use? What are you ladies using? Also where can I purchase natural make up?
Re: Please help! I am looking for make up that I can use.
I have a feeling it's gonna be a looong nine months for you.
In all seriousness OP, calm the fuck down or it's going to be a long 9 months. You can wear makeup. That bunny symbol you're looking for means cruelty free, not organic. I've worked in high end cosmetics for almost 15 years- you can wear them. Promise.
I have a bunch of bubble wrap. I can send it to you so you can craft a protective bubble suit. They are SHRN.
everyone else it was just a question because of several articles I've read. I am not stressing this at all. One of the first things you should do when you become pregnant is educate yourself. This is my first baby so I'm allowed to do what I want and ask the questions i feel i need answers to. Stop being Grumpy people!
I'm more partial to huffing my Mr. Clean. I should probably amend my list of things to not do...
You ladies got it all wrong. It's scrubbing bubbles!

I wanted to add another link regarding Organic =/= Chemical/Pesticide-Free. Many organic farmers use pesticides (gasp!) when other methods of pest and disease control do not work. They tend to use 'natural chemical pesticides', but 'natural' does not automatically mean safer than synthetic. I like Joy's poison dart frog analogy. Don't just blindly accept 'natural' and 'organic' labels. Clicky: Pesticides in Organic Farming
Also, I'm crushing on @Joy2611 again. She's so smart. ;;)
@kaynatural : really? You could have just given her the google links. That makes you look like a petty whiner, just saying... /:)
