Crap. I forgot that the definition of "ignorant" is "doesn't agree with me".

I am in my 1st trimester. Very early about to be 4 weeks pregnant (yes, I tested early). I have been wanting to do my make up but can't because I don't think any of the make up I have is safe to use during pregnancy. Does anyone know what kind of make up I can use? What are you ladies using? Also where can I purchase natural make up?
You can find a list of places to purchase natural make-up here: https://lmgtfy.com/?q=where+can+I+purchase+natural+make+up%3F

  • It's this natural instinct we have to want to protect our babies the best we can. But getting upset over things that are so insignificant will give you stress, which is equally bad for your baby. Sure, you can start with the make up, then other body/hygiene products. But where does it end? You still can't control your environment, there will be fumes from cars/industry etc..Radiation from WIFI TV etc that they are still not sure about whether it's harmful or not etc etc ... you can give yourself a headache stressing out about all of this, but that's really not a great plan. So my advice to you is to RELAX and don't over analyze things and to just take care of yourself the best you can by making sure you eat well and get enough rest, that's worth a lot more than any of the other stuff!
  • Um, whut?

I feel like anyone who reads through this thread should be rewarded.  With slutty brownies and a truffle shuffle.

There are environmental factors that are out of our hands but just because you can't control everything doesn't mean you should just give up completely. It is super easy to switch your toiletries, cleaning products and pay attention to what you eat. There is zero stress in knowing that the things you are putting on your body are completely safe. I could safely eat most of my bathroom products, how is that stressful? I could also safely eat most of my cleaning products although they would probably taste like crap, they are also super cheap. Seriously like 0.50 cents for a bottle of all purpose cleaner, zero stress there. Doing what you can isn't stressful at all, actually it is quite the opposite.
I totally agree with joules235. I just want to have that comfort of knowing that i'm doing what I can to protect my baby.
  • @rose03238, the point is that makeup is not going to hurt your baby.
  • @cacohkn didn't know I had to use perfect grammar on here....U obviously don't text much. Anyways I'm just going to respond to those who actually provide useful information. All this other nonsense is not worth my time.
  •  I feel like i must sound stressed but I am not. Things sound worse when they're written. I've actually been laughing at all the negativity on here. I got attacked for wanting to be healthier lol. I appreciate those who took the time to provide useful information. Thank you!

@washingtonqueen- We are in the year 2014. It's obvious that everyone was understanding what I was writing based on the responses. People use different spelling when on a phone to make it a bit shorter. Ur probably not texting but I am texting my replies on my phone. It's easier to skip a few letters. Seems to me that if this forum was full of adults there wouldn't be so much cursing and rude comments about me asking a question.

I'm pretty sure that the few extra seconds it would take you to actually spell stuff out would make you seem a bit more educated and a bit less nutty.

Replying in text speak makes you sound like a tween.
Says the person using words like "nutty" hahaha!
  • Huh, weird. I don't txt like dis even when I'm actually texting. I still use full sentences and proper grammar. And I text all the time.
    yup! you not me!

Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., I'm posting from my phone.

Yet whether I'm on my phone or on my laptop, I type out full words, use punctuation and use proper grammar.
Why does it bother you what I do? Why exactly do you get on here? I'm so confused. I personally use this for information and research purposes. Some of you just sound so sad! Seriously stop acting like that. It's not cute at all

I'm sorry, but you sound like an idiot.

"Nutty" is an adjective - it means "peculiar or insane."

Seriously, how old are you - 14?
I know exactly what it means. Just that who uses that word anymore. I'm sorry but this conversation is just stupid. I'm done. You are just so so sad. Being on the bump means you have a baby or are planning one or something related to a child. Why do you act like this? There are many things to be happy about try to be happy. You were saying that I was worried about the make up I wear but you are on here worried about my writing. That is seriously and issue. :-) This is just too funny to me.
  • Huh, weird. I don't txt like dis even when I'm actually texting. I still use full sentences and proper grammar. And I text all the time.

    ----------------------------- Clearly. Can't fix stupid, I guess.
I see you're still trying to talk to me. Obsession! Get a life. You don't have something better to do? Like i told the other person...try to relax and be happy. You don't even know me and you're trying to fix me? I'm sure there is someone closer to you that may need your help more than me. Why do you care about what I do or how I write? You are giving me way too much importance. I'm flattered but please chill.

mrsmuq@ Why should anyone take the time to read your posts if you can't take the time to format them in a non-eye hurting way? C'mon, lady.

You'd be doing me a favor not to read or reply to my posts. You haven't contributed anything useful so I don't mind not commenting.  There were actually many great input and yours wasn't one of them. So do whatever you want.
  • @washingtonqueen
again my grammar is fine. I don't have to write perfectly on here if I don't want to. I sure hope if you're raising a child he does not take after you with your choice of words and ur unfriendliness.
  • Ok, the bump is screwing with me....
  • *bump burp* Rewrite* It's fine if you don't want to, but we don't have to take you seriously if we don't want to. I have not used curse words and I have not been unfriendly.
yea well your children will see what a bully their mom is and that's just sad.  They have to learn such a horrible behavior. If any of you were to really just want to "help" you would've sent a private message but you are just a bully. And yes in my opinion you have been very unfriendly. I have been getting all of these unfriendly and rude comments from you. Therefore I am done talking to you. If you write me back you will be ignored. And if you write me again I will flag you. Im serious!
  • @rose03238 bul·ly 1/ˈbo͝olē/ verb gerund or present participle: bullying 1.use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants. "a local man was bullied into helping them" synonyms: persecute, oppress, tyrannize, browbeat, harass, torment, intimidate, strong-arm, dominate; You keep using that word, i do not think it means what you think it means.
There are so many ways to bully...Anyways I was here to discuss face products not my grammar or any of this other bull!

YOU posted on an INTERNET forum. YOU opened YOURSELF up to varying opinions and critisms. These women are not bullying you. They have not called you names, or used force against you.

And no this is not cyber bullying, you can escape this. You can exist and not come back. We are not your facebook.friend, we can not text you, we do not work with you.
