Boy: KIPTON JUDE (nickname Kipp) we have been agreed on this for awhile now.. We have a little boy in heaven named Dawson Ray. (Dawson means beloved and Ray is my twin brother's middle name)
Girl: ? Do y'all have any girl ideas that goes with our naming style? We have little girls in heaven named Cora James & Kennedy Grace. (Cora has same meaning as my mom's name, Colleen & James was after my best friend Jamie) (Kennedy means strength, armored, protected)
Would love any thoughts that go with these names. Thanks.
Kalea= (Hawaiian name meaning "bright", pronounced CA-lee-AH. my name is Carissa so they favor the sound of each other which is neat... Kalea & Carissa. Our last name sounds best with a girl name ending with -a or -ah sound. And Lee is family name from my husband's side.. So I like how Kalea is pronounced with the lee in there. Jenn= (Jenn after my husband's sister who passed away, Jennifer). I like one syllable middle names.
If we have a boy, either Jonavan Zachiah or Zachiah Jonavan. My DH lost his favorite cousin in a car accident 9 years ago. He was only 20 years old. His name was Jonathan, but we've decided not to name our first son Jonathan in the event, Jonathan's older brother (also my DHs cousin) has a son. We feel it is his right, so we picked a name that sounds close to Jonathan. Zachiah is a name my DH literally woke up out of a dead sleep and muttered. We instantly loved it, but we haven't decided just yet which way we will go. If we are having a boy, we are going to get the 3D ultrasound (we intend to get one if we have a girl too), and then we will decide if he looks like a Jonavan or a Zachiah.
If we have a girl, her name will definitely by Alaura Virginia. My best friend's name is Laura, and so our little girl will be A-nother Laura (A-Laura), and my maternal grandmother, who I was very close to and who I lost 16 years ago, when I was 15, was named Virginia.
We are having a rough time of it for names. Although, right now, I feel like we have plenty of time. We are going to find out the gender, so that will eliminate one list ( and the arguments, ha!)
My husband is of Peruvian/Puerto Rican decent and I am Italian/Scottish. Soooo, we are trying to find a name that reflects our heritage. The kicker her is that my DH and I have the pretty generic/common names.. (He's Michael, ha!)
Girls: Vanessa, Cecilia ( or Sicilia), Alessandra,Eliza
Boys- Andres, Nicholas, Matteo, Evan, Lorenzo, Carlo
Middle names Girl: May (my middle name) or maybe Faith/Grace
We just found the name Corlinn for a little girl and my husband usually just says "no".. But he said to keep this one on the list. It is pronounced "COR-Lynn" and has the same meaning as my mom's name (Colleen) - but is more modern. It is really growing on me. Any middle name suggestions for a little girl names Corlinn?
Choosing names was the first thing we did. He picked the boy and I got the girl.
Ava Claire or Kade Alexander
I've seen Ava on here a couple times. We're starting a trend ladies!
Also I'm a teacher and immediately vetoed any name that brought back flashbacks of a PITA child from my teaching past. I've also seen some crazy names. My personal favorite of ridiculousness was : Czoglatt.....pronounced Chocolate...seriously people?
"@marina_lbcc - Did you use a specific website or book of Italian baby names? Just curious. I have done some searching on the web too.
Thanks"
Hi, no books...Patricia has just been a name I've liked my whole life, so I just switched to the Italian version....Bianca is a name I came to love living here in Italy...the boys' names were more difficult but I let my DH pick them....

SSA hasn't released the top 10 names for 2013 yet but Ava was #5 in 2012 and has been in the top 10 since 2005. I would say it's been a trend for a long time already.
True dat. My cousin's DD is Ava Claire and she is 7 years old. It's not a new trend.
If we have a boy he will be Cameron Neal (middle name after my grandfather). If we have a girl, we like Mackenzie, I like Rae for a middle name (which is also my sister's middle name) but I think my husband isn't sold on that just yet...

Ezra Bollt for a boy
Both middle names are my grandmother's maiden names.
They both had sisters and no brothers so I want to keep the names alive!
Cade Porter
Kind of cool ring to it..
Boy- Diego Matias
Girl- Sofia Adelina
I have a very unique name, so I tried to keep the uniqueness to the mn \:D/
