We already have our names picked.
Girl - Ava Marie
Boy - Aidan Matthew Ritter
Great minds think alike! This has been me and DH's favorites out of the girl's names we've looked at so far. Kathryn Marie is a close second. (Middle name will be Marie, no matter what)
For a boy, I really like the name Alexander, but we are stuck on middle names.

Its our first so we have had a little list of names for over a year. After going over it again a few days ago, we finally agreed on Evelyn Harper and Aiden (no middle name yet).
With Ds it was easy he was gonna be a jr for sure. Matthew Ryan Jr (MJ). If he ended up being a girl we were screwed. For this one, if it's a Girl we like Makaylee or Hadley with a middle name Jane (dh mom) or Nichole ( my middle name).
If it's a boy we are still eh about it. We like Jaxon or Michael but Michael is quickly fading. The middle name for sure would be Corey after dh brother who was a still born long ago.
Girl (still in the running from last time): Avery, Amelia, Leila with MN Joan (for both our grandmothers!)
Boy: We still like Zachary, but we had a hard time agreeing on names we like other than that. I like Lucas, Anthony, and Matthew...I don't know if it would be weird but I'd like my Mom's maiden name as MN it's Crawford....Still contemplating !
We already have our names picked.

Kathryn is pretty much the best name and the best spelling ever.
I may be biased though....
August Siggy Challange: Alcohol Porn - Get yer' drank on!
Do you know this is the name of Steve Carell's character on The Office? Just thought I'd let you know because that name may have that association for a lot of people... He's really goofy guy.
We have had the hardest time finding boy names, we have all boys so far, we had 2 names picked out for the last boy and said whichever one we don't use we can use next time if needed. So if we have ANOTHER boy his name will be Everett Coen. Girls names I'm not even thinking about yet, I don't want to get my hopes up.
We already have our names picked.

I know Ava is such a popular name, but I've loved it forever and I'm not changing it. It's classic, so it's always going to be high up on the list. Marie is my middle name and a family name, so that would be the middle name no matter what.
We're not even entertaining the idea of boys names. If it's a girl we're going to name her Cora Susan. My Grandparents died 2 weeks before I had DD and my Grandma's name was Coralyn, so we're shortening it to Cora. Susan is my Mom's name, but I just really like how Cora Sue sounds.
My husband and I have been TTC for 2.5 yrs and in that time we have had a solid boys name but NEVER could agree on a girls name. Both my name and DH start with a L so we want to keep with that. There's pretty good odds that we'll be having twins - if its twin girls it will be thing 1 & thing 2 (jk) that's what we joke because we can't even slightly agree on one much less two.

Me too! Unfortunately mine and my moms middle name is Kay, which I don't think goes well with Ava, and neither do any our grandmas or dhs's moms names. Love that you have a middle name with meaning that goes so well with it!
DS is Cole Harrison
If we have a girl she will be Anna Rose
( after my grandmother and DH's Grandmother)
Right now we like Jonah David for a boy. I also like Jude, but DH isn't quite on board with that one.
Charlotte Harper for a girl We can't decide on Micah or Liam for a boy. I won on my girls name so I suppose I'll let the hubby and son pick the boy name!
@aggiefrau08 Marie is my middle name and a family name as well (mom and grandmother both had it as a MN and DH's grandma's name is Maria).
@groxb I've loved the name Kathryn (with that spelling) since grade school. I always thought it was such a pretty name. The NN would be Kat if we used it because there are a ton of Catherines in DH's family and we wanted to give her some individuality.

If I had baby today, baby wouldn't be named for days! Ha!
We spent SUCH deliberation over LO#2, and we didn't find out the sex until birth, so we finally came up with TWO perfect names. We ended up using our girl name, Providence Louisa, and didn't use our boy name, Abraham Koert (Koert is a Dutch family name). Now, I'm not feeling Abraham Koert so much. Isn't that weird?
I'm thinking I'd like to use place names this time. Our oldest is Ruth Seraphina, #2 is Providence Louisa, and I'm liking the names Bethlehem (girl) and Zion (boy) this time. We sort of have a biblical theme going with names, but one is an actual "name," one is an ideal/virtue, so we may do a place this time. No ideas on middles yet.
(I know- we choose the weirdest names. Roll your eyes- it's not the first time I've seen it! I just can't stand trendy, cute-sy names, and I totally abhor the Southern girl double-names. My name is really common, and I always wished I had a "different" name.)
Happily married since 2009
Roo, 8y Birdie, 4y Jem, 3y Vee, 1y Baby Bee DUE April 2018
We won't pick until we actually new the baby, but we'll go in with a few options. Right now we're at a bit of a standstill with boys' names: I'm obsessed with Jasper, and my husband still loves Benjamin. I've always loved Benjamin, but it was our front runner for like 8 months with Owen and now I can't get excited (yet) about using it for the next one. I even kept accidetaly calling Owie 'Ben' for a good week after he was born LOL. For girls, our favorites are Lila, Vivian, Clara and Fiona.
My favorites right now are Sawyer for a biy and Kylah for a girl. At this point the name will be 'boy' or 'girl'. We know a billion people (my H is a social butterfly who is still friends with everyone he has every made friend with). It makes choosing a unique name hard. That being said, I am about to not give a fucking and if our kid has the same or similar name as a friend or family member or their kid, oh well.
Same actually. Meaning that Levi is the only name we've come up with yet besides Scott, who is DH's BFF. But I'm not sold on Scott, and DH isn't sold on Levi, so I don't think it'll be either one. If we have a girl...well, it's a good thing we have tons of time to think about it.
We almost divorced (not really) over my daughter's name and finally settled on Paige...
We've had boy names for a long time. Owen or Colin. A girl this time we both currently like Amelia.
I love the name Colin, but it doesn't work with our last name. Boo.
I think Cora Sue is adorable! I love it.
I have no idea what we'll name another boy. We struggled with naming DS2. He was nameless for the first 12 hours of his life. I like Nathan, but DH isn't really on board.
Our original girl name was always Natalie. I still like it, but also really like Caroline (nn Carly).
We are planning to do that with #2, but we are going to have a list this time.
Haven't started thinking about this yet, but we both like Patrick, Desmond, and Henry. I like Fiona, Daphne, Ariadne, and Persephone for a girl. DD's name is classically Greek, so I would love another Greek name for a girl.
Girl is Lyla Claire. Boy is Mason Joseph. Lyla because I wanted an L name for a girl because I have always been obsessed with my capital cursive L. Mason is my DH's grandfather's name and Joseph is my dad's middle name.
The DH is a HUGE Star Wars fan and fought me tooth and nail to get Anikin for a boy ("We could call him Annie!!" ...? Really?). We compromised on Benjamin Kenobi because at least Benjamin is a "real" first name! I still really don't like it, so he came around to -
Boy: Theodore Logan (DH says it's from Bill and Ted, but I prefer to think it's Teddy Roosevelt and DH's college rugby nickname)
Girl: I love Callie, he says no. Chelsie is a good combination of our mother's and grandmother's names, so we might have something there. He wants Criquet, I...don't know how I feel about a name that will always make me think of a bug, even a cute-ish conscience bug.
I really like the name Raelynn Diane for a girl. But DH is not having it. :-( I'll just have to try harder. For a boy, I like Andrew James but he liked Carter James (that was his name for DD2 if she had been a boy) . Now, he's not sure.
@JanaK2013 I had a nerdy DH situation like that the last time around. I jokingly suggested Tiberius James (like James Tiberius Kirk from Star Trek), and DH loved it. He said we could call DS Ty or TJ, which is great, but his name would still be Tiberius. Thankfully, we had a girl.

DH only likes Nolan and Kiersten, but I'm not 100% yet. No clue about MNs either.
Boy-Samuel or James
But we aren't in live with any name right now. I think we are going to wait to really talk about it after we find out the sex.

Girl - Catie-Jane Marie
Boy: Nicholas Patrick
Nancy James 9.1.12
Calvin Donald 8.27.14
Boy- Daniel Uriah vigil

Girl - Allyson...middle name can't decide between Amelia (after my great gram) or Nicole or Bailey.
We can't decide on Micah or Liam for a boy.
I won on my girls name so I suppose I'll let the hubby and son pick the boy name!

If we end up with twins, a second girl will be Rio Dianne. A second boy is still a toss up. I like Vincent, DH likes Ivan. MN will be Thomas.

I do have a long list for girls that I've never used. My top two being Briar and Hattie. Boy names on the other hand are going to be a struggle : /
