It such a tease when you doctor tells you your one cm dilated. At first you're all like "Omg yay I'm going into labor!" Then a week later your still just one cm dilated.. You ever feel like its never going to end? Gerrrr

I has the same experience over the past two weeks. My OB knew I was frustrated so she had me schedule an induction date for if I go over my due date so that I have a definite finish line. I do feel better, but it's still 3 whole weeks away...

Wrong. Plenty of us have jobs, school, and SO's that we spend lots of time with. That's why when we come on our Birth Month we want to read relevant shit about the people who we have been getting to know. We don't want to read about cervices, mucous plugs, etc because we all want to go into labour and have our babies at a safe time. We are well aware that certain things are not predictors of labour. This has been discussed several times.

SO, if all those things combined fail to prevent someone from AW'ing themselves, then yes, we are going to have a little fun. There is nothing mean spirited about it. You are the one saying really nasty comments, not anyone else.
