DS is 9 months and still takes 2-3 (usually 3) naps per day... Approx 2-3 hours each. Should I start bringing him to fewer naps? Or wake him? He's a good sleeper (of course we have good and bad days/nights) or should I just follow his cues??
*also he sleeps approximately 7-7 with 1 wake up to eat.*
Re: Is it bad that DS still takes 2-3 naps/day?
My 11 month old does two 2hr naps and usually a 45min nap before supper. She then does a good 11-12 hrs at night (waking to feed but right back to sleep).
I've worked with many young children that NEED their sleep. If you are able to accommodate the naps then there is no reason to change it. When the are ready for less naps you will start to notice changes (takes longer to fall asleep, wakes earlier etc).
