I was awake from 2:30 until 5 am because my LO had the hiccups and then was barrel rolling all night. She's doing it again. I wonder if I'll have a natural swimmer lol? It feels like she's doing underwater cartwheels and shiz in there.
DH has court (über lame) but has promised to bring home donuts after (thanks to whoever posted the Krispy Kreme gif the other day!) then we are going to register some.
I think he has something planned for tonight, but I'm not sure. He's acting suspiciously, but I like surprises. Plus we haven't been on a date in awhile. And I shaved my legs. ;;)
Dang it, I knew I forgot to do something this morning...
I am not adding that to my to do list. Brushing my teeth in the mornings is taxing enough. If I feel extra fancy, I will brush them at night, too.
I made this beer bouquet for my SO for valentines. He hasn't finished my gift yet an I have no idea what it is.
I LOVE THIS IDEA!!! How did u do it?!? I NEED to steal this lol :-)
I got a six pack and super glued and duck taped to bottles to bamboo sticks. Then I took some Meat sticks and super glued 5 Reese's heart shaped candy in a flower shape to them then taped bamboo sticks to those. Arranged everything in a flower pot with those silly glass rocks. (Used duck tape because it's manly lol) I also put a large bottle of his favorite beer in the back. You have to make sure that when you put it together that the weight is even or it all goes to hell. I had some trouble with it at first. Also cut some of the sticks different lengths.
I normally do something crafty but this year I needed to replace something for the hubby. For our wedding he had some key chains that fit together that looked like puzzle pieces engraved to have both of our names (1 on each half) and 'My missing piece.' written across them. Recently he lost his keys which means he lost his half and he was super upset about it. So I went and got him a new one. He was super excited about it. I've also been leaving him cute little note cards all over the house this whole week.
I came home from work last night to flowers sitting on the counter. I'm not normally one to get too excited about roses unless they are 'just because' and completely out of the blue. But the note is what totally tugged at my heart.
I read the note and then he bent down to my belly and said, "Just remember that Daddy was the first boy to ever buy you flowers Poppyseed." I just about lost it right there!!!
This will be the first time in many years that one of us isn't working the night shift on V-day. We never have really celebrated it other then maybe exchanging a card and a box of chocolates. We decided that since both of us have worked in the restaurant industry and hate feeling rushed and like cattle herded into a place to do a fancy dinner at home. We are having steak, mashed potatoes with truffle oil, asparagus, and king crab. I can't wait!

We aren't doing anything tonight, DH works late and then has to run some errands. Right now though, I'm having a great Valentine's "date." Me and DS1 are laying in our bed, I'm working from home and browsing the Bump, he's on his iPad and we just broke into some candy. I figured out the carb counts for Kit Kats and M&Ms and am enjoying my treat.

Overnight I got a GI bug thing, was up and down most of the night losing fluids from both ends. This morning took some zofran and Imodium, pounded a Gatorade and went to get my hair highlighted and cut thinking I would be fine. Not so much. I almost passed out 3 times and had to lie on their back room floor for a while. Luckily the place was nearly empty and my stylist is one of my closet friends, otherwise I would have looked like an weirdo. Probably should have stayed home.

Ok, pg stuff is beyond my mathematics. So if some one says they are due with a baby in Nov. wouldn't that make her like 2 weeks along?? I can't find a computer thing to figure this out for me, just a due date calculator, so I have to guess last menstral cycle (awkward). Anyone know how or where I can figure this out???
Its a sex reveal not a gender reveal, blarg!!! I was having this discussion yesterday on 3rd tri and now they are everywhere! Trucks or Tutus...vom...
On a completely unrelated note an old HS teacher of mine posted this on Facebook today. It is simultaneously sad and funny.
Yes, but the reason he was martyred is because he was marrying couples against the emperor's orders. He was championing love. So, the original idea of the holiday is based on that. I think it's a little out of hand in our current society, though.
Actually, this might be a mythology... Saint Valentine's Day was originally a religious holiday, but it seems there isn't actually confirmation which martyred Saint Valentine it celebrates. The link between Valentine's Day and romance is all Chaucer's fault.

I found out maybe the 25ish of September that I was pg and due June 5. Maybe they are due November 1? It is possible I guess but they like literally just got ku
ETA yea looking at a calendar I find that highly doubtful.
My parents are visiting and offered to watch DD while DH and I go see a movie or something. I just looked at the movie showings and there is nothing out right now that I really want to see. Maybe I can talk DH into going out for Hibachi instead since I've been craving it for a while; however I'm not looking forward to the long wait times at the restaurants.
On another note, DH did get me some chocolates. I was surprised since we said "no gifts" and of course I didn't get him anything. DH said it was for the baby since I've been craving sweets like none other.

EDD's are based on last menstrual period, usually... If your LMP was January 25th, your EDD would be November 1st. I guess it's possible that her period was say, between January 25-27, and then she ovulated by CD10, she could get a BFP by now.
It might sound like a long shot but I think it's possible. Stranger things have happened.
She could also always be miscalculating her EDD - maybe she thought she got a period the end of January and used that for the calculator, but it was really just implantation spotting?
<~ learned a lot on TTGP
ETA - and it would totally make her like, 2.5 weeks along.
I received a beautiful flower arrangement, a heart-felt card, huge ass box of chocolate, and a fine ass box of goodies from Origins. I also came home to find Bf bought his own Valentine's Day gift--a big tv and surround sound for his man cave. I'm listening to it now through my bedroom floor.
Which is great, cause I did nothing for him. So he is pretty much perfect. He took care of both of us. I'm such a shit girlfriend this year.

I kept trying to guess the earliest she'd be due in Nov and she would be approx 2 weeks...
My brother just got married for the second time this summer to a lady he knew at the longest 6 months. I'd never met her and while it's his life and I love him no matter what and anyone that is important to him is special to me. It just made me kinda... nervous, maybe? that it felt like he was jumping in kinda quickly. She has two children from a previous marriage 9 and 6, so that's another thing that has me scratching my head, she surely would know what a period was... So we met her at Thanksgiving (about the time my blood pressure skyrocketed) and she was a very nice girl (which I was sure she would be). She was just sorta... blonde? ditzy? I dunno... Now she text my mom and mom told me they said they were expecting a baby in Nov... And I was like wow that's early... and the longer I thought about it the more confused I got...
My other brother married a girl awhile ago and I referred to them affectionately as 'The Crazies'. He was always my 'crazy' brother that I could describe as lightening. Well, several years ago, she announced to us that she was pg! 'Oh! Congrats! So excited for you!' A couple weeks later, she tells us she had a miscarriage. And this process repeated itself more times than was possible... Like my first Bros first wife was an RN and she said there was no way that she could've been getting pg and miscarrying like she was...
That to say I may be a little skeptical when there is no cause to be about things that don't make sense in that manner.
I hope this doesn't come across that I don't love them or anything. I love them both so much, they just kinda run around and do all this 'wild' stuff and then I'm the one that's here, always will be, for them when they need it.
Sorry this sorta turned into a looong story! Thanks for the tips!
@lizm05 - well... it would be really, really early if she's due in November. Like, really early to be texting your new MIL with the good news, I think, unless they are super close (and even then, why would you text?)
So, with all the other stuff you said.... I totally get the skepticism and feeling like this is all happening quickly. I'm trying not to judge or get you worked up, lol, but yea. It would make me stop and think, too.
DH sent me 2 dozen roses to work, but there was only 23 there. I told him as a joke and he called 1800 flowers and got all his money back! Flowers are nice and all butFREE flowers?! That makes me way happier.
@lest12 Thanks! Just even 'bouncing' it off others kinda helps me maybe think a little clearer about the matter. I guess when they let me know I'll say 'congrats' and time will tell!
@kaceymarie; when is your wedding anniversary? Mine and my husbands is March 30... )
We celebrated the Hallmark Holiday yesterday by going to a small little restaurant; 15 tastings on the menu = 1 very happy pregnant lady!! No gifts for us since we are also celebrating our 1 yr anniversary next month and saving for this little lady to come!

@lizm05 - I get it. It's weird and sometimes tough when siblings (who we've known forever) make these quick, major life decisions. For me, at least... I think we are allowed some time to warm up to the idea.
My DH is working all evening so I'm watching trashy tv and going to make pizza. He bought me a bag of m&ms and a box of nerds and I bought him a bag of hugs. I guess we just think candy is the perfect gift. We never do anything special for valentines day anymore and I'm completely happy with that.
Daycare sent my 21 month old home with a bag of candy and cards and shit...so I waited until she went to bed and I'm on her last bag of M&Ms. She can eat the fruit snacks tomorrow . That said, we didn't send in any cards because I didn't think to at that age, oops!!
Valentines isn't a huge deal for us but we do like to go out to eat a nice meal. We went to Texas Roadhouse and I got a steak with a loaded baked potato and fried pickles! Soooo good!
We also exchanged mushy lovey dovey cards that made me cry. It was sweet.
DH left a card with some flowers and candy for me before he went to work. I'm sharing because the card was adorable... It said something like, you're not just cute, you're hot... Smoking hot. And when you opened it, a siren went off. It totally made me giggle... And made me feel good, this might be the least 'hot' I have felt, ever!
