  • I have a master's I barely use in my job as a program manager for a girl serving organization- that shouldn't leave you guessing too much. ;-) And... ran my first solo event last night since I came back from leave then spent the rest of the night waking every two hours. I'm not sure how long I can last in this job if I can't get that beautiful restorative sleep.

After 10 years on the job I just buy them from girls who donate the boxes to food pantries or send the to the uso. I don't get a discount and have loaded so many mini vans full of cases that I can't bear to eat a single mint or shortbread! ;-)

  • Pre kids I was a special ed teacher. I was at the high school when I left, but over the years I've taught at every level, preschool on up!

I now SAH full time and coach swimming part time for 6 months out of the year. For a couple of months I coach swimming for Special Olympics and in the summer I run a summer rec program for the city.
Just when you thought @BelhurstBride couldn't get any better. That's awesome.
    Aw, thanks!

  • Currently I am an outpatient ortho physical therapist at a small private practice. I used to be a neurodevelopmental physical therapist at the number 2 ranked childrens hospital in the US. I switched to adults when we decided to have kids. I miss the kids and my research with balance disorders but not the parents or the stress. I love my job, all the old ladies love looking at pictures of lily and I love being an AW. My boss is really cool about family obligations. He pretty much let me choose my part time hours and lets me bring LO to work when I have no other options.

Before baby I was a stripper 2 days a weeks and hope to get back to working once every week or two once LO is STTN. I also worked at a daycare 3 or 4 times a week but probably won't return since I don't want LO around so many germs if I can help it.

I am not judging because day-um I wish I had a stripper body... And this thought process has some logic to it. But it made me chuckle to think you didn't want your LO exposed to germs so you'd rather return to your work as a stripper than a daycare worker. Again, not judging.... Just an interesting argument.

I work in property managment. I love it, plan on taking it pretty far in the industry. I love finding homes for people and building relationships. This is the back of our leasing office, in which I'll be leaving this all on Feb 25th. I'm very sad but I know it's for the best to be closer to LO! That balcony is where I would break sometime, it's so relaxing. image

This was my first thought too. I kind of chuckled as well.

    No judgement though!
