@tondraluv lol I am pretty sure cece is cece she is on the fb group and it looks legit.
Did RM ever post a picture? She was really cray cray though..fun times.
Yes she did. She posted a picture of her and her LO then immediately deleted it. Luckily I was there for the split second it was up. Cece is not RussianMommy.
And a gross one. For some reason one of my nipples started bleeding while I was pumping and I didn't notice it until I went to disconnect. I had 2 ounces in that bottle that were all pink. Eww. But I really debated whether any of it was salvageable. I hate dumping milk. Goodbye, 2 ounces.

Ugh, been there, done that.
I read somewhere that if a little blood got in the milk then it's still ok and no dumping needed. I would just feed it right away and not save in the freezer. It only happened to me once though.
I pumped 8 oz last night at work and lost the whole 8 oz in the bag cooler because I dropped it on the icy ground and didn't realize the bottle broke. I cried.
Ok i guess I have one now, I think people should lighten the hell up. Maybe @tondraluv was being funny. I acutally laughed when i saw her comment. Several times people have said 'I didnt mean it to sound that way', quite possibly she was being tongue in cheek and it didnt translate to some. I think if you are going to turn around and call people who arent here at the moment 'fucking bitches' then you yourself might benefit from some self reflection...;people who live in glass houses' and all.
I'm not doing shit at work today - much like most fridays!
And I also wanted to add that I have been on this board since BFP and probably came out of lurkdom about a month into pregnancy. The board has grown and changed a TON since then. It's still growing with lurkers coming out and some people leaving the board. It seems like the mean girl thing comes in waves. For a while there, everyone on here was so fucking bitchy, I came here just to watch the drama unfold more than I did to get advice because if I did, I might get attacked, and really who wants that? So @cece2682, I totally get why your feelings would be hurt when you come to a board that is supposed to be supportive and instead, people get downright nasty and turn into fucking bitches, even AFTER you have apologized for whatever it was you said. I'm sure we have a buttload of differences in real life, but on this board, we all have babies that were born in April (or march, or may) and that is our common ground.
So to the mean girls that want to come on and just hide behind their screen and say nasty things just for the hell of it, save it. No one wants that shit here. There's no real reason to be a total bitch to someone, even if you don't agree with what they said.
I think this is more of an UO but I think this BMB has a "nice" clique, where everything has to be politically correct and dripping with sugar.
We probably do more than other boards, but isn't that why we're here? To support each other. I feel like if you want drama then go turn on Real Housewives.'>
There is nothing wrong with being supportive but sometimes it feels like you can't even speak your mind here because God forbid someone doesn't agree with you then all of a sudden you're "mean". And i'm not just referencing today it is a reocurring theme imo. BTW I love RHOA

Eh, I don't like much PC, but I also don't like it when people act childish just because this is the internet. There are grown ways to have a debate and argue. I do think there are some sensitive people, but that is what happens when you have more than just yourself. Not everyone is this hardcore internet cool person who takes things in stride. Some people actually get their feelings hurt and I think we as adults should respect that. It is not a majority either, so I do not see the big issue with just treating a few people a bit differently (by not being as harsh in text) because they are indeed sensitive.

All communities and groups of friends both online and IRL will have their own tone. Most of us seem to be cool with the way we interact on this board but you keep bringing up how lame you think it is. I think we're all welcome to healthy debate and conversation so if there is something you want to discuss, start a thread and get people talking. Otherwise there are plenty of boards of snarkier boards out there if that is more your cup of tea...
WTH, where did this response come from. I said that there is a nice girl clique which there is. If you have a problem with me being here then say it.

I'm definitely in support of speaking your mind, but like I said, just because you don't agree with someone, doesn't mean you have to be a snarky bitch about it, KWIM?
And for the record, I love RHOA. It's my favorite one.
Was I snarky to someone? How is me saying there is a nice girl clique different from saying there is a mean girl clique.
I confess that since joining the FB group i like it better. Its nice to put a name with a face and get to know each other on a deeper level. That being said i do miss @tondraluv and some of the other girls that did not join the FB group.
Also i dont believe Tondra said that to be malicious. It was the comments after that took it there.

Like I said in my original post above, there's a huge difference between disagreeing and even calling somebody out on something they said, but entirely different to basically just tell people you don't like them, or point out things you don't like ABOUT them. That just seems mean spirited, and I don't get the point.

Let's rewind a little bit, because I hate hypotheticals who are we talking about? I reread this entire thread and I didn't see anyone being mean or childish? I saw a comment and people agreed with it, then other people got their panties in a bunch. Who are these rude and childish people everyone is referring to. Please call them out. Are you referring to me?
What I mean is that it seems like most of us like the tone of this board and don't have much of a problem with the fact that there isn't a lot of snark or negativity. Maybe there is a nice girl clique. Who cares? But you keep bringing this topic up and making comments about how the board is boring, etc without really contributing to livening it up with good conversation which is kind of annoying. I don't have a problem with you or anyone else here, I'm just commenting on how it seems like you don't really like this board much and that's cool if you don't, but making comments about how lame you think it is just seems like you're stirring the pot.

Wow, I leave for a walk in the snow and miss all this? Here is my tame confession : we have been snowed in since Tuesday night and I have gained FOUR pounds!!!! Also, I am in the Facebook group and it is all good and well but I still like it better over here.

@CoffeeMonster19 I never called anyone lame or boring. Again how is me saying there is a "nice" clique different from being told there is a mean girl clique.
@JSS1002 yesterday when I was bored I lurked on the Sept 2014 board because I had baby fever and felt like it could potentially cure me reading about awful morning sickness and such. OMG they were awful! I could never participate in a board like that. Some people are just downright nasty! Regardless of the anonymity of a message board you are still a person talking to another person. Attacking someone else is just cruel. I think there are plenty of ways to have interesting conversations and be entertained on a board without resorting to that nastiness. It's not entertaining, it's just mean.
Exactly. There was a FFFC thread a few weeks ago where a girl went on about how people who do genetic testing and get bad results for things "not compatible with life" but choose not to terminate were selfish asshole bitches.
I don't think I even need to say anything else... but that was one of those situations where I SHOULD have just stayed out of it, but COULDN'T, and I'm sure I didn't make any friends over there.
@cmcmillan0901 i'm sorry but i'm not passive aggressive. I seriously don't get who is mean or childish so if you ladies are referring to me then let's not beat around the bush just say it.

Happy Valentine's day everyone!
I'm all for differences, and healthy debate. But when someone makes a bigoted remark? Nope. I'm calling that shit out.
But I agree..It's Friday. I'm gonna drink champagne after work and hopefully get laid tonight.

Yes, because calling everyone "heifers" isn't passive aggressive, it's just straight up rude.

Anyways, I don't think that @tondraluv was trying to be mean spirited. She's always been supportive from what I've seen. When I had surgery back in August (lymph nodes removed) I mentioned something small somewhere and she sent me a PM wishing me well and to let her know how things turned out. I thought that was super generous. Also, when I had my other surgery (I'm sure y'all could google the surgeries I've had and find out everything about me!) every body was so supportive and has continued to be towards me. I think because @cece2682 has very strong opinions and maybe they come out too often/strong she was just referring to Russianmommy doing the same thing but I do not think they are the same person at all. @cece2682 has showed a lot of support too.
clearly, i have not been paying attention to what's going on around here lately. I'm all sunshine and rainbows over here.
I made marshmallows then dipped them in chocolate (they turned out OK), and for dinner we are having lobster tails and fillet, and I made chocolate pot de creme with hand whipped whipped cream. AND I plan on drinking a very nice bottle of champagne to top that off. With all that gluttony, I will probably skip my running group tomorrow. That's all. I just wanted to talk about all the good food coming my way.

OMG, that all sounds fabulous. I absolutely love to cook but this year I'm going low key, and now I feel like I should stop at the store and buy fancy food... or at least something awesome for dessert.
I forgot this one: my husband has been trying to book me a massage, first for my birthday, and now for Valentine's day. I keep telling him I don't "need" one because he's trying to book them at places I don't like. I have one place (maybe 2) around here that I like to go. He should know that. Until he figures it out, I keep refusing his gift. (I know I'm the only one suffering because of it, but it's not that hard. Woodhouse. That's all.)
