  • I don't like having activities out of the house when my kids are young. I feel like I'm away from them enough. Adding extra curriculars would just stress me out at this point.

I've got some lame ones, but seeing as I never have any I'll go ahead and say them.

Salt and vinegar chips, French fries, or anything is nasty.

Also, I don't like thin mint girlscout cookies. Really anything mint chocolate makes me want to vomit.

Mint chocolate brownies make the world go round! And French fries.. Nooo. Take that back!
I'm good with regular French fries, but spraying it or smothering it with salt and vinegar, gross!!

Oh I see now! Well that's better.
    :D

S/O of babies in breweries: I don't think you should bring your children to breweries if you're going to be drinking while you're there. I can see MAYBE one drink but any more than that, no. DH and I have a strict policy that if we go somewhere and one of us has even one drink, the other doesn't so they can drive. Call me paranoid but I'm a lightweight and sometimes one is all it takes for me. Lol

  • I guess it bothers me more seeing parents having MULTIPLE drinks and then driving. I've seen too many lives ruined by drunk driving.

  • This is an UO depending on who I am talking to.  I actually really enjoy Valentines day.  I agree with skipping the boxed chocolate.  I don't really like all the chocolates that come in them so skip getting me an assortment.  But I love the idea of being able to go out and spend some special time with DH.  Unfortunately this year no date for us because I work.  Plus DH is a "valentines day is too cooperate" kind of guy.  I really hate that he thinks that way, but I guess I will just do something special for him and the girls.

I am 10000000% against drunk driving. I am always the dd with friends because I don't trust them not drinking lol, but I think taking LO to a brewery is totally different. You don't get full sized beers, most of the time. I'm sure no one would put their lo in danger.
Correct, they are 3oz pours (at least where I'm from). I would never put lo in danger like that. Breweries are a fun thing for us to do with friends. When it's warmer we like to sit outside and play corn hole for a few hours.

Blue Bell mint chocolate chip ice cream is the best!  All others pale in comparison.

OK, I have a weird one.  You will all be grossed out, but that is what makes it unpopular.  I married Robin Williams...OK, not the real one, but he is as hairy as him.  My UO: I love shaving a guy. My ex was only his face, but with DH I love shaving his back.  Yes, gross, but I feel a sense of accomplishment watching all the hair disappear.

I had to. I still <3 you though despite you loving to shave off YH's back hair.

I disagree with not having babies in breweries, although I have not taken my baby yet I will take him to the local St. Arnold one here.  It is very family friendly-people bring food and board  games.  However at ths brewery we get way more than 3 ounces, if you bring your own glass-can be 32 ounce, pint whatever they usually fill it almost to the top and you get up to 4 beers.  Ive left pretty tipsy in the past.  Now if I have my baby there I will not be having all 4 probably two and have someone else drive.  Having a baby with me anywhere I go changes my alcohol intake 100%.

  • I too also like valentines Day.  I work in an agency in a high school and it is probably my favorite day to be here because I have clients coming in my room all day showing me all the crap they  got lol.  But seriously I hope my boyfriend gets the memo to not get me anythihg down the V Day aisle this year and get me something nice if he is going to get me something...or take me out to dinner =)

  • I'm not saying babies cant go to breweries, I will take DS to one if we ever decide to go. They arent many around by us. I'm saying that if you go for the sole purpose of having MULTIPLE drinks and without a DD, babies dont belong there. But that should be common sense and I guess that's not so unpopular. I suck at this game!
