People like this make me sad for our society. It is terrifying that there are people out there who really only think of themselves. I'm so glad that the ladies on this board are not like this, with the exception of a moron here and there who are not truly a part of this board.

And some comments may have been rude, they were far from bullying. You were redirected to where you could find more answers then called out when you whined.

The local police are too busy address a board of snarky and fabulous pregnant women. There is no crime here.

Any local, state or federal form of criminal investigation is not going to open an investigation on this post. It does not warrant it.

I'm honestly curious how that call to the LAPD went. I would imagine it had to be something like this:

Police: 911 what's your emergency?

OP: I'd like to report cyber bullying

Police: Ok, what school does your child attend?

OP: Actually I'm the one being bullied.

Police: And how old are you ma'am?

OP: 35.

Police: Ok, who is bullying you ma'am?

OP: A group of women on thebump.com

Police: The what?

OP: thebump.com. It's a website for pregnant women.

Police: Ok....can you describe the bullying?

OP: Well, I complained about my bloat and they all got very mean and unsupportive and posted mean pictures.

Police: They were posting pictures of you? Were they taken without your permission?

OP: No, not of me, they were of...like movies and cartoons and stuff. But they were sarcastic and mean.

Police: Ok....did these women threaten you?

OP: Well, they threatened to not like me and not let me be part of their bump board.

Police: Did anyone solicit any person information from you? Try and defraud you in any way? Threaten your physical person? Spread malicious lies about you that impacted your reputation?

OP: No, they don't know who I am, they can only contact me through the bump.

Police: And what happened when you left he website?

OP: Well, nothing happened. But then I signed back on and they were still being mean.

Police: So... a group of people on a website said some things you thought were mean, but they do not know who you are, never attempted to find out, and you only see mean comments when you voluntarily log into that website, otherwise there's been no attempt to contact you or anyone you know in any way?

OP: Yes.

Police: Ma'am I'm going to reccomend that you don't go to that website anymore. And please only call us if there's been some kind of crime committed or you feel threatened. We're pretty busy tonight.

OP: But I'm reporting this to the FBI and they said I should file a police report.

Police: Well, you'll need to come down to the station and fill out the paperwork.

OP: Can't you send an officer to my house? I'm reeeaaallly tired.

Police: Goodnight ma'am

I would imagine the conversation with the agents over at the FBI proceeded similarly. Seriously, if you don't want to be part of a message board, don't sign on. Whatever behavior you don't appreciate "magically" stops. Works 100% of the time. Promise.
