I really don't know why I'm being attacked right now. I guess I've misunderstood the purpose of the birth club entirely.
No, I don't know what's going on with the rest of the board today. I'm an executive working 60+ hours a week, so I really only get the opportunity to glance at the board from time to time.
I don't mean to negate anyone else's suffering during their pregnancy.
I just thought I could talk to other moms about experiencing the symptoms of pregnancy.
I also work in a field where 60 hours is considered a minimum. If you are implying that everyone else knows the rules because they don't work, you're wrong.
I don't post a lot here, but it is not really that hard to understand if you spend 5 minutes looking at the board that if everyone posted normal symptoms that you can easily learn about on Google, it would be inundated with people asking the same questions over and over again. Look to see if anyone's answered your question first, then if you have something specific you just can't get help with, maybe start a thread. Even if every single one of us was having a healthy pregnancy, it would be madness. This board has evolved over time to encourage organization of normal symptoms into the symptom thread, abnormal and rare symptoms can have their own threads. Venting was ok early on, but there's a format we all try to follow. The people who suggested you post in other threads were perfectly polite to you, and were telling you exactly what to do to get help on this board.
A couple weeks ago I busted my foot. It didn't get better with rest. I Googled, turned out I had plantar fasciitis, common in pregnant women with high arches (thanks for the freak feet, dad). Looked around a little more, found that I should try foot inserts and compression socks. Now my feet are way better. I bitched about it once on the symptom thread, but honestly, I didn't need a host of internet strangers to tell me how to take care of my foot or feel sorry for me. If no one responds to you on the symptom thread and you really, REALLY can't figure out what to do, you might make a SS thread about it. But seriously. Just search first to see if someone's already answered your questions.
And don't make it seem like you can't possibly figure this out because you work a lot. We're all busy. Just take the advice and move on.
Anyone want to take bets on how long it takes for her to run to another board complaining about how we're all horrible bitches?
If there's one thing "busy" people can make time for is being an insensitive, insufferable attention whore and a whiny brat when things don't go her way..
Damn, I missed the crazy again. Must be because I am clearly the ONLY other woman on here besides OP who has a demanding job 8-|
Oh, and to answer your original question, nope, not bloated or uncomfortable at all. I float out of bed, throw on my skinniest jeans, and nothing EVER hurts. You're alone in these mystery pregnancy symptoms of which you speak...maybe call the doctor, just in case.

If I wrote, for example "you are an insensitive bitch who is clearly too wrapped up in herself to give a shit about anybody else, Fuck you." that would be flag-able.
I'm so thankful that something like that would never cross your mind!

Be nice, guys. She's "an executive." LOL
An executive ass-hat.

Super Duper gold star for me then. Executive working similar hours with two teenagers, President of a volunteer emergency response team, Army wife AND I found the time to get to know this board and am familiar with these ladies.
@ohyealovely@swilkins1122 The flags are gone, but I'm not sure why the posts are showing that way. It must be a bump glitch because it doesn't show you as having any flags. Promise!

Um....excuse me? Sweetheart if you want to pretend you're a "busy executive", you might want to delete your previous post about whether or not it was ok to sleep on your bosses couch. SMH

I'm not sure if I'm bummed I missed out on this or not - frankly, it's probably for the best, because I would have tried to reason with her, tried to get her to see the light, and just gotten frustrated by the general lack of decency by yet another asshat. Oh well... fun to read after the fact!
And let's not forget getting high while pregnant...
"Ultimately, it's up to you, mama to make the decision for what's right for you and baby. I know for me, it was about not suffering, and being able to swallow food to nourish baby, and being able to actually ENJOY pregnancy. "

I'm not going to read through that post but this little excerpt from her post "One of the more interesting finds, to me personally, is that the
children of mothers who used marijuana to treat their MS or HG tended to
have higher IQs, because of the higher socio-economic status of the
mothers who used pot. Kind of cool!"
I'm not sure the point. It's as if she wants us to believe that children of parents who smoke pot have higher IQs because of the pot. And yet she says that the cause of this is the higher socio-economic status of the mothers.
Re: 21 weeks and four days bloated and uncomfortable!
I'm so sick of all these posts lately, especially when so many women on this board are going through really rough and scary times right now.
So OP...
