Thank you for sharing your story. I am sorry you are being treated disrespectfully on this board. The girls on the WTE boards are super nice and happy for people when they get a BFP. They don't belittle them like over here. Congrats to you and thank you for the advice. I will be trying preseed next cycle and attempting to stick to the SMEP. I just finished my first month of ttc.

You wanna talk disrespect? How about being like 4 months pregnant coming to a board of strangers trying to conceive and asking if they've tried putting sperm inside their vagina. That's disrespect. Ride the fuck back out on the horse you came in on.

Then go back there. I've been TTC for 29 months and have offered my heartfelt congratulations to dozens of women on this board. I am a super nice person and happy for people when they get pregnant.

What I don't need is some woman who got pregnant after THREE months to tell me about a plan that worked for her. Guess what, Sperm Meets Egg? That's EVERYBODY'S ttc plan. It's fucking impossible to get pregnant without a sperm meeting an egg.

But hey - you've shown me the error of my ways. OP, I'm sorry for thinking you were a twatwaffle. Thanks for the really great advice. After 2 fucking years, I'll finally give that sperm meets egg thing a try. Sperm meets tonsils clearly isn't working.

I am really not a confrontational person. I didn't take her post as being something everyone already knows. I'm new to ttc and it was helpful...I want to try preseed. She simply sounded like she was sharing her method to success.

I'm not judging the entire board. It was one post that I was shocked by. Ive been lurking for months on WTE and never saw that, that's all. I just think that we need to support everyone at every step in their journey. I doubt I am welcome here anymore...I was just trying to defend someone that I thought meant well.

Unless you've insulted someone beyond reason or made an incredibly insensitive comment you're pretty much never too far gone. We don't spoon feed, though. Read and live by the guide we linked for you and always check there for an answer before creating a new thread about it. We'll answer questions, but if it was right in plain sight on the newbie blog it's like.. Come on. Know what I mean?

@Samantha781 I'd recommend you first start posting in the waiting to o and 2 week wait threads that are posted daily. Buy a basal body thermometer from Walmart or cvs, buy the book Taking charge of your fertility and read it, sign up for Fertility friend and download the app, and go from there. If you really want to give it your all,this is your best bet.

I didn't have such a great start here @samantha781. It was my first time on a forum and I hadn't gotten a chance to learn the personalities yet. I didn't read into the sarcasm and took a comment more as a personal attack. I decided to put my big girl panties on, apologize, and stick around anyways. I had lurked for a couple weeks and knew I was dealing with knowledgable people, and I'd rather be here than on a forum full of ignorance. Despite my not so great start, everyone has accepted me anyways and it's all in the past.

I don't know, I mean, I'm kinda old fashioned. I think sperm should do a little more than just "meet" egg. I mean if sperm really wants egg then sperm should make the effort to pick egg up at egg's place.

You may have already said this, but have you tried charting on FF? I was intimidated by it at first because I simply didn't understand everything, but once I started temping, using OPKs, and charting, it started to make sense. Now I feel like I actually can SEE what's going on, perhaps because it's in graph form.
