I have a "regular" appointment today at 10:30 EST. I'm nervous because I fell yesterday. I did not fall on my belly, just landed all my weight on my wrists (which is pretty sore). With FM sporadic for me still I'm nervous because I haven't felt the little fella much today. I'm looking forward to the good news that all is well even though I know it is because:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go". Joshua 1:9
**UPDATE** Little Fella's HR was 156. This appointment was a "quickie". I'm still on pelvic rest until my next appointment which is March 5. At this appointment I'll get another US to see my little man (and make sure the placenta has moved), get a pertussis (sp?) vaccine, and GD testing. LOADS of fun!
I finally have mine today! So excited to see my baby girl again. Prayers that she and everyone else's baby is healthy. Good luck today ladies!
Married my Best Friend 4/16/11
Started TTC 10/12 BFP 10/16/13, Due June 27, 2014. PPROM at 21 weeks. Our baby girl McKenzie was born and passed on Feb 17, 2014 Mommy and Daddy love you so much baby girl. We will never forget you.
I have my 22 week appointment today. Just the standard weight, pee, etc. I am sure we'll talk about my GD and review my glucose readings. I have a lot of questions for her.
We have our A/S today and I am nervous/excited. This week I have a super long list of concerns to ask my Doctor, so I am really looking forward to going and getting answers! I think I became such an expert on my IF, that I am super scared and feel like I don't know anything about pregnancy. Even after reading the books, I am still questioning every pain and symptom.
Regular appointment today. I'm anxious to hear the heartbeat again because baby boy has been pretty chill lately. Last week he was playing soccer in there and this week I've been feeling him much more faintly and not as often. I do have an anterior placenta so I'm just reminding myself he could be in a position where his movement is cushioned. Hearing a good heartbeat will make me happy. Good luck to everyone today!
I had a regular 20 week appointment this morning. It was a burden.
The antenatel center didn't send my a/s report over from yesterday, but luckily I had some paper work that they had given me, everything looked good.
They also had 0 record of my quad screen. I had blood work around 13 weeks but never heard a single thing about it, no record of having even taken my blood was in their system. At 16 weeks I gave more blood for my prenatal workup they lost and the quad. They never sent me the letter saying my blood work came back okay AND they never sent my blood for the quad.
I had to get stuck 4 times over 15 minutes to get enough blood for today so they can send it out AGAIN. If it doesn't come back this time I'm not doing it again. It's not something I'm worried about but apparently my DR is since I opted out of the nt.
YAY!! Tuesday is finally here! This was the first pregnancy I didn't "cheat" and go to an elective ultrasound to find out the gender. We basically wanted to take this pregnancy step by step....but UGH the wait was forever I have my A/S today at 2:15 pm Central. I have to say I am still praying for a great scan and as well as finding out the gender. DD keeps saying it's a girl so we will see if she is right.
Good Luck to all of the other ladies today. Happy Healthy babies all around.
So, apparently I have a Dr. appointment today at 1:30. It was originally scheduled for Thursday but they asked if they could reschedule. This is very unlike them so I don't think it's much of a big deal.
I'm suddenly very nervous though. I feel like I have a million questions for the doctor - about weight gain, gd, blood pressure, hospital tours, etc.
Had my monthly OB appointment this morning at 9:20 EST. I'm measuring right on track. Baby was very active today and kept kicking the doplar. Heart rate was 158. Oh, and I've gained 8lbs total so far. After my CNM told me I gained 8lbs she made a comment like "got a long way to go yet." She was saying that I have ~18 weeks left and that they like a healthy woman to gain at least 18lbs. I don't know if she meant I'm gaining too fast and have a while to go before the baby or if I have a long way to go before I gain the 18lbs. Hmm...
I am at my doctors office waiting. Anatomy scan is in about 10 minutes and I'm terrified. Nervous nervous nervous....Obviously praying for good news and that everything is progressing normally. Update soon!!
I had a normal check up appointment this morning. Baby is growing and healthy. Her heart rate was 151. I have gained 5 pounds so far at 22 weeks. My Dr said I only have 2 more 4 week visits left then they go to 2 weeks!! Can't believe I am on the downhill.
Had my 24 week appointment this morning! My uterus is measuring right on schedule and baby's heartbeat was 155. Gained 2 more pounds since last appointment so up 4 pounds total. Next appointment is glucose testing...gag. Already dreading it!
Update: First, our babies are still little girls and haven't grown a peen in the time between the elective and a/s, yay! They're both extremely photogenic and (to be completely non-biased) they're adorable and cute and perfect in every possible way lol. From what the tech could tell us, they appear healthy and didn't have any noticeable issues that we could see, but the radiologist takes a look at the pics and then gives the summary to our doc for follow up on Monday.
All appears well though! Love seeing the little squirts kicking and moving around, it's awesome
We had our follow up a/s today. Baby girl still has two small cysts in her brain where the brain makes its fluid. The doctor is not concerned and is positive that they will go away by the third trimester. We did decide to get the non invasive DNA blood test and will have those results in 10 days. But overall, we are incredibly relieved. (The worst case scenario was trisomy 18).
Just got back from my a/s. Both babies were nice and squirmy, which was fun for DH to watch, although we didn't get many high-quality photos because they wouldn't stay still. They're growing well and look healthy; however, it looks like my cervix has shortened quite a bit over the past month (went from ~3.5cm to just over 2.5). The doctor will re-check in a week to see whether it stabilizes. If it continues to shorten, we'll try a pessary to help the babies stay where they need to be. I'd be lying if I said I'm not freaking out a little bit, but I'm trying to take comfort in the fact that we're catching it now and the doctors have a plan of attack.
Good luck to everyone else having appointments today--I hope they're nice and uneventful!

@PinkKEL9 my stomach flipped at the mention of more frequent appointments. I am right there with you time wise. This pregnancy is flying, I need time to slow down a little!
@jaybee11 - I hope your cervix stabilizes as well. Glad the babies were doing well!
LOL, @abastian00 - Thank you! I really felt better when the doctor told me I was right in a normal range. Positive weight gain, even with a purpose, is very foreign to me!
I wanted to update earlier but I forgot plus forgot my phone charger and I had to save the battery. We had our a/s at 3:15 (est) and it's a girl! Everything is developing perfectly and our due date is still the same (June 25).
Just got back from my appointment. Thankfully she's happy with my sugars and is hopeful I'll be able to control the GD with diet and avoid meds. We talked about delivery. As of now, there are no plans for scheduling the repeat c/s earlier than 39 weeks, unless my sugars go crazy, or if he's a preemie like his brother. His heart rate was 156, if course he ran from the Doppler and it took a few minutes to get a good read. Next time, I would have gotten my glucose test instead now I'm just getting a CBC bloodwork but I'm not sure why. I don't remember that with my last two.
Re: Tuesday Appointments and Anatomy Scans
I'm so excited to see the babies again!
Congrats on a healthy and happy baby girl @ugabamafans!

Appointment went well. Dr is fine with my weight gain, which I was nervous (I thought I'd get scolded for it being high).
The babes was moving around so much, the dr had to chase him around with the doppler to follow the heartbeat. I loved it.
My first sugar test is in 4 weeks. Blah. lol.
