Baby's head very low

  At 36 weeks, I was told his head was low, 80% effaced, and closed. He said he would come sooner than later.  At my 37 week, I was told her was extremely low, 80% effaced, and 1cm.  I hope it means something!

  Yup!  I was told this at my 36 week appointment.  The ultrasound tech actually said she couldn't believe he was still in me because he was so low.  Then, the doctor told me she felt his head and that she predicted I'd go soon.  But, here I am at 38 1/2 weeks!

  Same here! She was like wow! His head is right there! I have my 39 week appointment tomorrow, but at 38.5 I was still closed with nothing going on. Would be surprised if I've made any progress in the last week.

  At 35 weeks I was 3cm and the doctor said wow that baby is super low. He said he doesn't think it would be long now. I have my 37 week appointment tomorrow. I'm sure little fella is going to hang in until the bitter end.

  I just had my 36 week appt yesterday and during the ultrasound, the tech commented baby was so low she couldn't even see all of the head. Then during my exam, doc let me know I was dilated to 3cm and 75% effaced. Basically, can go anytime, or could be another 3 weeks. Don't let this information get you too excited - baby will come on their own time. It's just good to know progress is being made it the right direction.
